Excite Smart Shot Lead BBs are double-copper-coated BBs with the exact same diameter as steel BBs (4.35mm). What does that mean for you? You get a better ammunition choice for your spring-loaded BB gun magazines that won't foul up your barrel with lead residue. Now you can shoot at steel targets, shoot competitively, and even shoot indoors with the Smart Shot BBs in your BB handgun or rifle. The copper coating makes their surface much harder than traditional lead balls, yet they still flatten on impact. Smart Shot BBs offer a whole new world of target choices for you to shoot at.

I ordered these to check them out. They actually do have reduced ricochet potential. With my P08 Umarex Luger, 300 FPS, 4" barrel, I shot a couple point blank at my steel backyard BBQ stand and found the bb's a couple of feet away and flattened in about 20% toward the center of the bb, the bb absorbed a lot of energy. But when in my usual shooting conditions of 10 to 25 YDS at water born targets the trajectory of these bb's fell quickly and short of the steel Hornady Black Diamond bb's I usually use. Some seemed to go way off target wild as I can see where every bb lands in the water. Maybe a balance issue with the bb.
Pros
reduced ricocet
Cons
less powerful and decreased in dependable accuracy
These work well in a PPK but in comparison to Hornady Black Diamonds the POA/POI is different, but that was to be expected. They're different weights and material. They DO ricochet upon hitting a hard surface and when i inspected one after being shot at a brick and bouncing back, there was NO deformation at all. Overall though, they work well and hit hard...gonna pick up some more of these for sure!
Pros
Accurate, reliable, consistent
Cons
Too many ricochets from something labeled
"low ricochet." Price could be cheaper.
I used these BB's in a Umarex Walther PPS..low ricochet on steel targets but they do bounce a little though not as much ricochet and bounce as traditional BB's so definitely keep wearing eye protection Best of all NO jamming.
Pros
low ricochet and no jamming of airgun
Cons
a bit pricey and they still tend to bounce off target
1st they do ricochet and a lot 2nd the tin they came in is garbage.
Pros
Haven't found any yet. Had to switch to a different container.
Cons
1st they do ricochet and a lot 2nd the tin they came in is garbage. lost probably 20 BB's on the floor. Not magnetic.
Good BB for the new Hell Boy M4 rifle, but I still ask everyone wear eye protection.
Pros
It is good.
Cons
nothing, can not be free!?
I use this in a Daisy BB gun pistol. Very accurate!!. I use a Gamo Rocker Pellet Trap as a target and they flatten out like a pancake when they hit the metal rocker target.
Pros
Ricochets are minimized and seem much less powerful than normal BB's. For the added safety it's worth the money!!
Cons
none
Needs a high powered airgun to work properly; but other wise they work perfectly
Thank you
As advertised they are "Low Ricochet" BBs. I was very impressed shooting them at my aluminum plate target in my Umarex P.08 blowback pistol smooth shooting all around, no cooper mess on your fingers, well done.
Pros
Easy to handle and load, smooth shooting.
Cons
None
Get the big bottle, the tin is neat but ultimately useless
Pros
Accurate, lightweight, mushroom out well on semi solid targets, do NOT ricochet
Cons
Pricey, any wind destroys accuracy
