drop the price to $129 like the baretta and if falls in line with its equivalent single double action pistol...
make the magazine a one rotating band of 20 pellets instead of this 8 shot and then reverse the mag set up..
increase the velocity to about 420 fps instead of about 330..
make it with real side action.. with ejector port..
the baretta 92 has got a big heads up over this under engineered p30.. you folks can do a far better job and at a far better price ..
This pistol is well made (in Germany.) It is the third type I bought (I also have the Beretta [also made in Germany by the same company, and the Sig Sauer (Made in Japan] . I invested in them to get the feel for them before spending big money on the bullet firing versions. Besides, they are fun to shoot, I can use them in my backyard, and are a lot less expensive than firing bullets. The Sig Sauer is fun and has a 30-round magazine; this pistol works well but has the "blowback" feature thus using up the air cylinder more quickly. The Beretta is heavy; approximately weighing the same as the bullet-firing version. The Beretta has good accuracy { probably due to its rifled barrel}, an 8 round .177 cal wheel type magazine [it comes with two], and has a good secure feel in the hand perhaps due to the checkered hand grips (vs. the smooth grips of the Sig). The HK has the best feel as far as the hand grip Due to the shape, angle of the grip, and position, in my opinion, The HK has the same magazine capacity and configuration as the as the Beretta. It is lighter in weight than the Beretta and as an accessory rail (the Sig has this feature as well) under the barrel which the Beretta does not. I have not invested in any accessories yet, laser, etc. The Sig has a three dot sighting system but is not adjustable. The Beretta and HK do not have three dots but both have an adjustable rear sight (the tiny Allen wrench is included). The HK has an adapter that allows the user to shoot BBs but the instruction book explains that heavy use of BBs can compromise the rifling in the barrel; I do not plan to ever use BBs for this reason. The safety on the Sig is not very smooth; I am afraid it will break if I use it . The safety on the Beretta is perfect: ambidextrous, smooth, and easy to use with either hand. The barrel length of the Sig and Beretta seem to be about the same. The barrel length of the HK is approximately 3/4" shorter than the other two guns. My only complaint with the HK is the safety, I do not see how anyone could push the safety button (easily) with one hand while holding the pistol. I will have to inspect the bullet firing model to see how it compares. I would also have liked to have the three dot sighting system. I am inclined to buy a real HK first and then also a Beretta. I will have to check out the real Sig before I decide on that model; I understand that the real pistol has a double action safety.
Pros
Secure and natural feel in the hand. Not too heavy but not light either. Well made (Germany!). Accurate; adjustable rear sight,
Cons
The safety is cumbersome. I would like three dot sights.
I have owned this gun for about six months, it is very accurate and just a blast to shoot, I bought it to practice hand-holding, stance and trigger pull for shooting my real pistols, this gun fits the bill very well and is just great fun to shoot. I have just two gripes, the first is that the double action trigger pull is impossibly long and heavy, and is a bit ridiculous, but I always planned to shoot this in single action by resetting the hammer before each fire, and in this mode, the trigger has a very good, solid snap to it. The second gripe is the lack of defined sights, they are all black and very hard to see. I just went out and bought acrylic paint sharpies in white and red, and "painted" the front sight red and the entire rear site in white, worked great, now very easy to see the sights in any lighting condition. Also recently bought a much less expensive ($80) pellet pistol with blowback made by the actual gun company, it was a terrible piece of junk, a cheap plastic toy, I returned it since I am so spoiled by this great Umarex made gun, it has set a very high bar for me that I now realize none of the cheaper guns will be able to match. If I buy another gun, it will be the Umarex Beretta M92 FS, and paint the stupid white lettering on it, something this gun does not have.
Pros
Weight, feel and performance are outstanding.
Cons
Heavy double action trigger, no sight markers.
Is a bit pricy, but it is worth it
Pros
Everything
Cons
Nothing
this is the best gun ever!i highly recomend this to everyone!this is the best gun on the market!
I just got this about 6 days ago ang it's very good. I put a laser with it and it shoots very accurate. @ 6-10 meters it always hit the bullseye. 450 fps with bbs & 380 fps with pellets. A very powerfull co2 pistol. No blowback thats why its powerfull. Try it and you'll love it like me.
Very nice & perfect! I like it. Would buy from this seller again!

Login to ask someone who bought this product. How can you purchase extra magazines for the P30. The one magazine that cam with my pistol is wore out. CBS fall out when shot. Something is wrong that it no longer holds back additional rounds following the first shot.

asked RussFor extra pellet magazines: Umarex Airgun Pellet Mag., 8-rd, 3ct, for various guns Item Code: 8060228 Not sure if extra CO2 holders are available, no need IMHO, I can shoot 80 pellets on one CO2 cartridge, and reloading CO2 is very easy.

Fahed EsperCan u use pointed pellets?
asked jason from USANo, pointed pellets stick out the front of the rotary cylinder and don't allow it to opperate properly.
RussHey, just wondering if this gun will kill birds the size of ducks with one shot? I am only looking for something that will kill these pesty birds. In one review, someone said it sounds like a real firearm, is this true?
asked ToddI would recommend only .22 cal. air pistols or rifles with 600+ FPS. This pistol would only injure the duck.
Clark from USACan you fit it with a laser, if yes what kind ?
asked TonyYes you can fit this pistol with a laser or flashlight. It uses a picatinny rail. A great laser is the Walther Nightforce, which can also double as a flashlight.
Clark from USAhow I can get it ? with the lisens ? cause, my country isn't free
asked oktia kurniais it plastic bbs or metal
asked EthanThis shoots metal bbs and metal pellets.
Steve from USA
Awesome pellet gun! Very smooth and solid feel, strong kick. The hammer action is really nice, if you need more accuracy then you can cock it back first. Need a laser, kinda afraid to shoot it too much because it looks and sounds like a real gun!
