I'm very satisfied. I took it to my shooting club and everybody gave it a good review.
Pros
Fire power
Cons
It doesn't have a rear or front sight. The ones that come included in the cannon.
This gun is not accurate.Scope wont adjust,, stay away from Gamo. but buy Ruger airhawk it is more accurate and more powerful .
Pros
nothing
Cons
not accurate
rifle arrived very quick, couldn't tell this rifle from a brand new one, shoots hard, very accurate, scope is a new thing for me, not sure I should have got the scope, but its easy to sight in, funny thing though, the pesky squirrels that were all over the yard and garden must have seen me target practice cause they have all but disappeared.
Awesome !!!! One can't miss a Iguana with this one...Be sure to shoot them twice...or they will walk away. Need's a better scope. Good up to 40 feet.
Great gun for any money and an excellent deal given its low cost. Very accurate, nice soft trigger pull and excellent optics. Highly recommended for targets or varmints!
by far the best pellet rifle i have ever owned, very accurate and very powerful.
Good gun for the money. Chrono on the PBA pellets was 1056 fps. The crossman premier shot 750 Fps. Not quite the 1200 stated on the gun, but still pretty fast. Good solid gun for the money. Also the gun came with a 3 x 9 40mm scope instead of the 4 x 32 scope stated.
Great air rifle. Accurate and tons of fun. Refurbished was no different than new. It was a great purchase and saved alot of money.
I bought my self a bigcat 1200 about a month ago and i have zero complaints with the gun. This is a fine piece of a firearm.
THE PROBLEM THAT I HAVE IS THAT PEOPLE ARE GOING OUT WITH THESE POWERFULL PELLET GUNS AND KILLING BIRD AND OTHER ANIMALS JUST FOR FUN. I FEEL THAT THIS GUN SHOULD BE TREATED AS REAL WEAPON AND NOT A TOY!!! AND REMEMBER IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO EAT IT DON'T KILL IT!!
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. When will this be back in stock
asked NicoleNicole, Unfortunately, we do not have an updated time frame of when these will be back in stock. It is difficult to know when refurbished items will be back in stock. It really depends on what the manufacturer has on hand when an order is placed. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team

chiazong from USAcan you have .22 cal
asked johnJohn, Thanks for the question. We do carry the Gamo Big Cat in the .22 caliber. They are around the same price as the .177 caliber. Just remember that there are restrictions in both Chicago and IL when it comes to shipping. Hopefully that answers your question. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USADoes it come sighted in?
asked HunterNo it wont be sighted in and i would never trust that it is sighted in out5 of the box- no matter what rifle it is. It may not even come with the scope attached, but this gun is fairly accurate so it shouldnt be hard to sight in
George from USADoes this come with a GAMO brand 3-9x40 scope as pictured?
asked Jakeyes its a nice scope for the gun but youll need to sight it in
George from USAYes.
Julius from LithuaniaOn a scale of 1-10, what would you rate this gun?
asked Zeke8- pretty accurate, pretty powerful, good for the money- just not a high end break barrel

Scott from USAWhat are the best pellets accuracy wise. Thanks
asked Mitchell from USAAccuracy wise with this particular gun- id go with gamo red flames since its a gamo or crosman premier hollow points- predator polymags are also very accurate
George from USAWhat kind of bbs should I buy?
asked ConnorThis air rifle shoots pellets- if you mean pellets id say crosman or gamo made pellets for this gun- .177 caliber
George from USANO BBs. This is a PELLET gun!!!
KenIs this gun loud? And is this gun similar to a .22 rifle in power?
asked Ben LThis gun is kinda loud, also, it is not as powerful as a .22 caliber rifle. 22 hits much harder but .177 travels further and faster. so, for targets, get .177, for hunting, get .22
Scott from USAhow do you tune the snipers scope to make it accurate
asked kevinplace a paper taget 20 yards away and draw a one inch circle with a quarter on it. make sure the 3x9x40 scope has the detaining screw in place so the sccope will be anchored in place. the scope needs a penny to move its ajusters. take aim at the circle fire three shot and ajust rigth or left accordingly- then when you center go up or down as needed. at 20 yards your ajustments can be quater turns or more. was its zeroed in at 20 youll be good at 30 and 40 yards. dont worry the 3x9x40 is a good and easy scope to use and work very well with the .177 big cat.
PRIMO from USAHow is this rifle for shooting dove and squirrls?
asked Robertyou would have no problem killing either of those animals if you hit them with this gun.
Steve from USAHi. I am wondering if this gun is good for me? I am 11 yrs. old and I want it for Christmas. I want this gun for killing squirrels, chipmunks, birds, and rabbits. Also I want this to practice target shooting. Is the scope good? How far macnificati0on does it have. Does it magnify a lot.
asked AndrewI am 12 and I have a beeman air rifle. I took it grouse hunting and it works great but I also want this rifle because it is light and my cousin loves his.
PorterThis is an adult gun and may be too big for you. It is also a high powered gun. It would be best to start out with a youth air rifle. Gamo makes an excellent one. Then practice, practice, practice. I started out with a crosman 760 and used it for many years. I had at least 30 years of airgunning before I picked up a high power airgun. Even then I had to learn how to hold it to get the accuracy. Airgunning is not something you just get the most powerful gun you can find and think you can shoot sub 1 inch groups. It takes time and discipline.
johnThe gun is very good and reliable I have shoot over a 1000 pellets out of it and have had no problem it is very high powered and should have no problem taking out squirrels and other varments...the scope is very clear and accurate when you get done tuning it I have no problem shooting bull eyes all day with it all around it is a great gun
logan
This is a very sweet air gun. I also have the silent cat and I will be the first to tell you if you can''t hit with this beauty then your not much of a shooter. Me and my brother love them great guns.
