I got a box of these with my Marauder and figured they were just the break in pellets. However, out of 16 other types tested, they shot the best. When I went to buy more, I had to ask why, compared to the same pellets in a tin, they were so expensive. Like 3x more. The reason given is they are hand sorted by die and lot making them extremely consistent. Funny thing is, the web sites I have looked at, none of them have made that distinction in the description of the product.
For a final test, I picked up a regular tin and will try them out for consistency. If they aren't as good (and why would they be), I'll swallow the price of 4.1 cents a round, plus tax and shipping. We used to get 22lr for that price.
Pros
Very consistent
Cons
Costly, with no advertised distrinction.
Turns out these pellets shot the best groups out of my newly purchased Ruger Air Magnum. It's not what I consider fully broken in quite yet but I still tried some 75 yard shots today with it using my BSA Majestic 6X24 scope set at 16X. To my surprise, out of 10 or so pellets, I was not really counting, only two hit an inch above the target center and I had one half on, half off target center. All the rest were in the money ring. Can't wait to see how these perform once the rifle has more than 50 shots through it. The target is attached as a JPEG.
Pros
Accuracy above all.
Cons
A little pricey but then you get what you pay for and I guess I'll take the 75 yard shots and shut up now.
Lots of pellets in a box, good price. Great for can shooting
Pros
nice to have bulk order less pellet cans floating around
Cons
missed the darn sale!!!!!!!!!! =)
Dimensional uniformity and consistency on par with German made Beeman pellets. Accurate in my Gamo Whisper .22 rifle and in my Benjamin HB22 pistol. This is the pellet to use when breaking-in your Benjamin pistol. Inexpensive without any loss in quality.
I've have a Crosman AS2250XT and it shoots these pellets with great accuracy. These pellets not only work great for target practice they work pretty well on pigeons too!
Not much that can be said about these pellets that has not been said before. These are the standard that all other pellets are judged from.
They worked fine. I sighted in on bench in basement but out side very windy so my hold not the best to define offhand accuracy. Will have to wait for better weather here.
Go the tech force 99 magnum, and these pellets work great with it.
For all you enthusiasts out there who shoot day and night, these pellets are perfect.
They are the most numerous for the price in any caliber, and all come packaged well enough so that they don't bend easy.
They're good for target practice, but are also heavy enough for hunting purposes. THe Dome Shape offers enough penetration to kill
I have held off buying these pellets, not thinking they could make a difference in accuracy from the premier pellets that come in a tin. A lot of my air rifle shoot great with the regular premier that come in a tin, but my marauder would get occasionally fliers with the standard premier pellets, sometimes as many as 2 per clip. I have gotten zero flyers in almost a whole box.
Pros
The medium weight of the pellet. The hardness of the pellet, great for those head shots. Very high quality
Cons
Expensive
