Bought this because I was having problem with eye relief when I mounted a UTG 3-12x44 30mm compact scope onto my Benjamin Marauder Pistol(Because I don't want a big scope on the Pistol).Mount this accushot mount with the compact scope so that it hangs 1/2 way back and the problem solved. It might or might not work on high recoil air rifle and /or fire arm but I think it might.
Pros
Feel heavy duty and serves my purpose well.
Cons
none
Found this site and this mount to ready a Marlin .22 for my grandkids. Had to find an 11mm base for Red Dot 30mm rings. Works great. Kids love the Red Dot and I love the tight, secure rings. Good job Airgun Depot!
Used it to hold quite heavy SWFA SS 10x42 Tactical Riflescope on Weihrauch HW 95 spring-piston .22 rifle.
Mount has a stop pin, which seems solid, but I decided to replace it with even more solid 10/32, which I made from the stainless steel screw, (had to drill to enlarge hall and cut thread) and glued pin with red Loctite.
Tightened upper halves of rings with no more than 15 in/pound, did not want to damage scope's tube. Tape on the inside of rings probably has pressure sensitive adhesive, so far made about 300 shots, set up is rock solid.
Pros
Inexpensive, does the job just fine.
Having done much research and several tries at finding a mounting base for my R1.. This is the one you want.. Mounting/Scope position are comfortable compared to the rings the came with the RWS 3-9x44 scope and the High-Profile mounts.. With this Medium-Profile mount there is about 5mm of clearance from the rifle to the front bell of the scope. My recommendation is that a 44mm scope about the limit before having to go with the High-Profile mount.. Using a one-piece base with the recoil forces of an air-rifle is pretty much mandatory! As is a scope designed for air-rifle use.
Pros
Solid base, about 5mm of clearance between rifle and scope front bell.
Cons
Screws are not pre-loaded with any form of thread-lock.
Bought this mount to eliminate scope creep on my Gamo whisper Fusion IGT. this mount worked like a charm.
Pros
no more scope creep
Cons
none
Bought this mount to replace the high rings on my RWS 460. This mount is a lot more solid than using 2 rings & the medium height puts the scope in perfect alignment with the cheek rest on the stock. I like the fact that it also has a locking pin to keep the mount from shifting.
Pros
1) Very solid & stable mount.
2) Good mount for the price.
Cons
None.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. Is this really for an 11mm dovetail? The Leapers website says this model is 3/8."
asked Jeffrey from USAWill a 42 mm objective lens clear the barrel with this mount?
asked donI have this same mount on my RWS 460 with a 42mm objective & it has about 3-4mm of clearance. Also puts the scope at a more comfortable level with the stock.
Sidney from USACan I use this mount for fix the UTG 3-12x44 AO SWAT AccuShot Rifle Scope for my RWS 350 Magnum .177 cal. TO5 triggered rifle?
asked Pio SilvaWill this fit 11mm dovetail on an airgun?
asked johnYes, this mount will fit the 11mm dovetail common to many airguns on the market today. However, it should not be used with many magazine-fed PCP guns like the Benjamin Marauder, due to magazine clearance requirements. Additionally, if you intend to use this type of mount on a rifle with barrel droop (example: the RWS 460), make sure you choose a mount designed to properly compensate for the droop. Doing so will simplify the mounting process and increase the accuracy of your airgun. Safe Shooting!
Russell from USAYes it will. That's why I bought it.
