The 5.52 head diameter seems to work best in m 460 mag. Inch groups at 50 yds. some bigger, some smaller, but average around one inch. 3 inch at 100 yds on a calm day. seeing as how the mag is not a PCP gun, I think that is great. People not familiar with airguns ( other than box store guns ) are always amazed when they hit a 2 liter plastic soda bottle at 100 yds.
Pros
accuracy--consistent velocity
Cons
A little light for my 460, I get a little piston noise with these as opposed to a heaver pellet,BUT, I'm nitpicking.
I like Air Arms pellets for their consistency and accurascy in my spring guns and low powered PCPs for plinking or close range pest work. They shot and fit well in my guns barrels which greatly aids in accuracy and consistency in velocity.
Pros
Very well made pellets with good consistent weights and sizes that show in the tight groups they shoot easily from my favorite guns. They shot good in my spring guns and lower powered PCP pistols and carbines. Overall good all around pellet for daily use.
Cons
Due to the light weight which results in thin skirts they can be deformed easily if the tin is not handled properly by just tossing them in a range bag loose or allowed to bounce around.
These pellets ate accurate, my Marauder Pistol, Diana Stormrider and 22 springers all love this pellet. 3" 5 shot groups at 100 yards. Even the Marauder Pistol keeps groups around 1' at 50 yards. A good pellet when you don't want the penetration heavier pellets give you. Yet they can still drop a raccoon at 50 yards.
Pros
Constant from pellet to pellet. Group well especially from my springers. Great pellet for PCP pistols. Very accurate in my Stormrider.
Cons
Cross winds will blow these around a little more than the heavier pellets. Especially when shooting at 100 yards. Less penetration than heavier pellets. Don't bash the tin around, it messes up the skirts.
