My encounter with the .50 caliber deviated. The current ammo that I bought the Dragon Claw shoots out of it. And if the bullet is placed inside a barrel of the AF Texan, the bullet slides down the barrel, and on to the floor! The other problem, is that I measured the diameter for the purchased 50 cal. ammo, measured .396 inches. Would you agree that this "50" caliber ammo would shoot better in a 45 caliber rifle? This ammo is too small for either the Dragon Claw or the AF Texan!. Someone put .45 cal. ammo in our .50 cal boxes! Again, recommended that the boxes be labeled with the size of the ammo that we purchase! And when you get it at home, measure what you received.
Pros
With what I've had to go through with airgun ammo, I've no great thoughts to offer.
Cons
Print the diameter of the ammo on the boxes! Make sure to inform the customers when it comes to .50 caliber ammo, there are two different diameters for that 50 caliber. .495 for the Dragon Claw, and .510 diameter for the Air Force Texan.
Well-made hard-hitting
Pros
Good penetration
Hard-hitting
Cons
None hunting
These are great. I want couple more boxes.their the most accurate pellets for dragon claw so far that I've tried. Think I'll use these to hunt this year
Pros
Accurate,heavy
Cons
Expensive& I run out of em too fast😂
These BULLETS yes not pellets bullets are real pig killers, they pack enough power to even drop a white tail dear with one shot if placement is right, my only issue was that the shots drop a bit I'm assuming due to the weight. But make no mistake these are no joke
Pros
Great knock down power, solid penetration on target
Cons
The only one I can think of besides having to aim a little higher is the price
These are my "go to" when hunting with my Dragon Claw .50 cal. My magic bullet if you will. Well made and consistent. One shot, one kill.
Pros
Drops hogs like a rock, and have not had a deer go more than 25 yards with correct placement.
Cons
California is about to outlaw the use of lead for hunting. This misguided legislation will have us hunters and plinkers searching high/low for legal ammo for big bore PCP air guns. An Air Venturi rep told me just last week they have no plans or interest in making non-lead ammo (lost opportunity for Air Venturi). Thanks California (sarcasm)!
these are good heavy hitting slugs
