I'm having trouble pumping my Umarex Gauntle, I am using the Foster quick-disconnect female to 1/8" BSPP male adapter but it won't pump more than 1000 PSI I needed to pump up to 3000 psi. what else can I use😞...??? & yes I used a Rubber seal. It goes up to 1000 PSI and it doesn't pump more than that and it starts leaking.
Pros
It is a very good quality hand pump
Cons
Too much pricey...
The pump appeared to have been previously removed from its packaging and probably used, but I needed a fill source. The pump seems to work fine taking around 75 strokes to take my Bullboss from150 bar to 195 bar. Taking my time with a slight pause on the up and down strokes. Wouldn’t recommend trying to fill big tanks with it but works great on smaller ones!
Pros
High fill pressure, it works
Cons
Little pricey, probably previously used
I have 3 hand pumps, an old Benjamin, a $40 Chinese knock off, and the Hill Mk4. The Hill Mk4 is by far the best hand pump I've ever used. Pumping my Discovery PCP to 2,000 psi is almost too easy and pumping my Vista Liberty to 3,600 psi is more work, but not bad. I wouldn't want to have to hand pump much higher than that very often, but have taken it to 4,000 psi and that's about as far as I was able to go. The Hill Mk4 is also more efficient at pumping. It takes fewer strokes and less heat is generated to achieve the same pressure as my other pumps.
Pros
Well built
More efficient / less work to use
Cons
Pricey
This pump is great. I bought it with my first pcp rifle, and it's worked very well for me. I've been using it over a year, about 3 to 5 top offs a month. Hasn't seemed to wear at all, yet. I wasn't sure how long the seals would last before needing to be rebuilt. I also pump slow, but I pump right through without stopping. I have yet to notice it getting that warm that I would worry about the orings. Definitely recommend this pump, as an air source, or back up to your electric pump.
Pros
Works well.
Cons
Elbow grease.
This is a very well constructed pump. I have emptied 2tins of ammo through my gun so far and have used this pump to bring the pressure back to the top off. a good steady rythme with a momentery pause at the top and bottom of the stroke fills the 13 ci tank on my gauntlet in about 5 to 8min from 1800psi to 3000psi.
Pros
Easily repairable/ rebuildable. Parts are much cheaper than purchasing a new c.f. fill station everytime they expire.
Cons
This is only a con because the optional moisture filter should not be an option. Adjust the price accordingly and only offer this pump with the moisture filter. At minimum the filter adds a layer of protection from air bourne debris the could potentially get in the pump , reducing the service life of the seals or the entire pump.
This pump is made very well and the action is smooth. I'm not too fond of the air intake being so low to the floor where it can pick up debris.
When the lower part of the pump heats up make sure to take a break and let it cool down. Time will tell how long it will go between seal service.
Pros
High quality
Cons
Air intake is at the base of pump
Plastic base
This is my first hand pump so I cannot compare to others. I based this purchase off reviews that stated fewer and easier pumps vs others. To fill 255cc reservoir from 100 bar to 200 bar, it takes 135 pumps. The pump does get hot so I break halfway to allow cooling. At pressures approaching 200 bar, resistance to pump does increase but is not too strenuous.
Pros
accurate gauge
Cons
Grips are too hard-should have some softer grips.
feet should collapse for easier storage and transport.
The pump really does what it says, takes little effort to fill my fx streamline from 100 bar back up to 230 bar , less than 5 minutes... its lightweight and easy to put a strap on and haul into the field... love it
Pros
Fast and easy to operate
Cons
None

Great pump, also gives you a good workout. Exactly what I expected.
Pros
Great to use
Cons
Wish the handles were a little more padded, it can hurt the hands when you're pumping.
