Air Venturi's Power Booster allows you to break free from your dependence on a SCUBA shop or wherever else you get your high pressure tanks filled. This Power Booster is able to push your shop compressor up to 4500 psi. Your shop compressor will feed the Power Booster 60 to 90 psi and then the Power Booster will turn that output to 4500 psi. So any shop compressor that has an output of 60-90 psi at 5 cubic feet per minute (CFM) is compatible with the Air Venturi Power Booster. A compressor producing less than 5 CFM may result in slower fill times. With it's light weight, compact size, the Power Booster is far less expensive than a more conventional, stand-alone high pressure compressor. With no more wasted weekends at the SCUBA shop, you will be able to actually enjoy shooting your PCP air gun in a way that you never thought possible.

Air Venturi Power Booster Features
  • No electrical hook up required
  • Adjustable output pressure, up to 4500 psi
  • Automatic Shut Off
  • Fill PCP reservoirs, SCUBA tanks, or carbon fiber tanks
  • Requires 60 - 90 psi input pressure
  • On-board oil reservoir automatically lubes internals
  • On-board manometer tracks fill pressure
  • On-board moisture filter
  • Male quick disconnect fitting on output hose
  • Weight: 23 lbs
  • Includes: Test plug and lubricating oil

This unit requires a shop compressor capable of a working output pressure of 60-90 psi. It is recommended that your shop compressor be capable of at least a 5 CFM flow rate. Less than 5 CFM will produce slower fill times.

This Booster should not be used for breathing air.

This has been one of the best things that I've bought in a long time!! It does a GREAT job on filling my guns , it's ok for small tanks but big tanks are out of the question !!

Pros
Great for guns and small tanks

Cons
Not good for big tanks!

I already have two regular shop compressors and I only own one pcp carbine and one small buddy tank. I couldn’t justify the cost of a high pressure compressor. So I got this unit and it is sufficient for my current needs.

Pros
Good for my needs.

Cons

What exactly happens to the oil used by this unit? There is no mention of an oil catch. Does it diesel in the piston and get burned up? Does it get caught in the moisture filter on the high pressure side? How clean is the air coming out of this unit?

If the shop compressor is capable of more than 60-90psi (165psi in my case), can the booster handle that, and therefore have faster results? Or is the trueax 90psi?

Wondering if there are any parts? Just in case if they brake.
