Many guns come with compensators. The holes usually vent gases that could cause turbulence as the projectile leaves the muzzle. The holes can also reduce muzzle flip and/or recoil. Although this fake compensator has none of those capabilities- it does up the coolness factor of select ASG CO2 BB pistols! Not suitable for airsoft guns.

I purchased the CZ SP-01 Shadow with the fake Compensator ... how does this work? thanks
asked jeff from USAIt is mainly for looks as it is a faux, (fake) compensator..If you look inside it is a barrel extension also..Made of plastic, it gives attachable models, the look of being suppressed..I use mine for display..There is no actual suppression..Hope this helps..
