A small moderator is all it needs! Donny Fl has the perfect adapter to use any moderator suppressor. Not pellet picky, shoots many different brands and weights good.

Pros
Expensive yes! But there is no other pcp pistol on the market that has this much power and accuracy yet still realistically looks and feels just like holding a real 1911 hand gun! Trigger is amazing!!! Two stage and is truly a match competition trigger! Pistol comes with adjustable sighs and everything else is adjustable too! Back off the hammer spring and have 50+ Regulated shots or cranked up shooting jsb pellets over 800 FPS. Youtuber claimed shooting pop cans at 100 yards… No way but yes I have done it! Put on a red dot sight shoot cans at 50 yards 10 out of 10 shots! It has incredible accuracy for its size!

Cons
Absolutely nothing bad about this pistol! Sights are a bit generic but still adjustable and this pistol definitely needs a moderator because it is loud with all that power with a short barrel.

It is worth every penny in today's high end air gun market, this is a keeper air gun for me!

Pros
This is the most amazing air pistol I have ever seen, it is the same grip feel of the famous Browning 1911 and is one of the most accurate air pistols I have ever seen, I have had one hole 5 shot groups from a rest at 50 feet (old eyes) and I get 21 shots to a fill. The trigger pull is in the ounces, I left mine with open sights but with a small scope you could really stretch the length of your shots.

Cons
Not a single thing, it is amazing!

The Ataman AP16 is an unreal pellet gun. It does need heavy pellets it’s awesome at 20-40 yards. Buy a Scope its well worth it. Sight it in at 20 yards. The hill MK4 pump is well the money. For shooting every 14 shots you will pump only 4 pumps (starting with the pump at equally pressure to the gun air tube) to bring it back to 300 bar. Buy a cleaning kit clean after every 21 shots to make sure you stay in a tight group.

This pistol has spoiled me. It is a joy to shoot. The gun is consistent if you miss your target its the gun’s fault.

Pros
Very consistent crisp trigger well balanced.

Cons
None I have been able to identity.

After a six month wait, my Ataman AP16 arrived along with a Vortex Venom red dot sight. I got the longer version for added shot count and power, the fit and finish is excellent, feels solid and balances well even with the longer barrel. My brother took care of mounting the sight and getting the gun dialed in as I had to work that day, two hours later I get an excited call from my brother proclaiming the gun a winner. The day after Christmas was spent shooting the AP16 at 10 yds.,15yds., sight in at 20 yds, and 25yds. Pellet on pellet is the norm at 10 yards, 1/2 inch 5 shot groups at 20 yards, 25 yard groups are 1 inch or less.
I'm certain the groups would tighten up with a pistol scope. Trigger is nice, very light and is fully adjustable. The shot count is double what is advertised, from 250 bar down to 110 bar yields 45 shots using JSB 14.35 exacts with a velocity of 630 fps. Like the Cricket, this pistol is built to last and is fully adjustable, including a velocity screw. The muzzle energy is less than the advertised 18 ftlbs. Mine is shooting 13 ftlbs. which is plenty for bird feeder vermin. I could turn up the power, but I like the current shoot count, so I will keep it at its current setting. Magazine is 7 shot and a breeze to load, the indexing system works perfect, easy to cock and un-cock.
Over all I'm glad I held out for this gun, as far as air pistols go, there's none better!

Pros
Shot count, 45 plus Trigger Accuracy

Cons
A bit louder than I had hoped. Borderline backyard friendly The grips are nice, but could be finished a little better.

Is it possible to mount a red dot

asked Jake from USA

Is anyone else having the problem where you shoot the gun a few times and on one of the shots all of the air leaks out through the barrel making a loud hissing sound? This is my second Ataman Ap16 and I've had the same issues with the first and second one.

asked Brian from USA

i got the answer and here is the reply. hope it will help others owning ap16.quote: Hello Mr. Chi, Thank you for your message. What is the pressure when you are making the shot that makes it leak afterwards. The minimum pressure to shoot it is around 80 bars. If you shoot below that, the hammer spring will open the valve and let all the air flow out. If it is letting air out above these pressures, there might be a problem. When that is not the case, you should fill it up before shooting under the regulator pressure. Emptying it this way is not a helpful test. Just do not shoot under these pressures. I hope this helps, have a nice weekend.unquote
