The Schofield No. 3 with 5" barrel in black is a CO2 BB revolver that puts you squarely in the middle of an old West frontier showdown the minute you pick it up. It's a close copy of the famous model used by both US Army cavalry and Wild West cowboys, and at speeds up to 400 fps, it's made for hours of backyard plinking fun or target practice.
The airgun gives you an exciting experience that features authentic details that make it look and feel very similar to the real steel version, including the weight provided by the all metal frame, and a shape that feels correct in your hand.
It uses one 12 gram CO2 cartridge under the grip for power, and you load it by putting BBs in the included metal BB cartridges and then using the top break design to put them in the 6 shot cylinder. Just like the firearm it's modeled after, you cock the hammer and then shoot it using the easy to pull single action trigger for remarkably realistic operation that serves as a good introduction to revolver shooting or a way to keep in practice.
To keep your shots landing on target, this airgun uses a fixed rear notch sight and a fixed front blade sight. If you're ready to feel what it was like to be part of the Wild West, get ready for fast draw plinking excitement with a Schofield No. 3 with 5" barrel in black from Airgun Depot now.

In a review I read the the crosman shells for its 357 would fit this revolver. They do not and I bought 3 sets.
Pros
Very well made, nice balance, trigger pull is consistent with other Schofield I own, and the action is great. I got pearl handles for my 7", but am leaving the 5" original. Wouldn't mind a set of black grips also.
sorry I don't have a review from a gun expert perspective, but on my level, love this gun
Pros
Beautiful well made reproduction.
Cons
not much nor anything, really like this gun.
Pros
Pros: this gun is amazing! Not only as a replica, but as a BB gun! It holds true to the source material and is well made and I have had no problems with it. So fun, amazing.
Cons
Cons: nothing, great replica.
Wanted to say thanks to the guys at AD, great coms and amazing fast shipping. Got it in under 2 days! Epic all the way around, I will be back for more!!!
Pros
Just got the No.3 in today, and my 1st impression is "Wholly Cow is this awesome" the build quality for a BB gun is fantastic. I like to shoot .38/357, and this air pistol feels just as nice in my hands as the real deal. I spent less on this than 2 boxes of rounds. Would have loved this as a teen. Good to see companies building quality air pistols. No cylinder play, the action is super smooth, and the weight of the pistol is perfect. some folks dislike the plastic grips... I'm all for it, they feel nice and are made of the same material in some of the vintage air rifles. This is a quality piece and im sure will be a collectors item in the years to come.
Cons
None, for the price your getting a quality air pistol.
The Airgun depot guys are very reactive and the communication is great.
Top service.
8/10 !!!
Greetings.

Pros
Very realistic 'Old West' look and feeling.
The gun is very nice and solid.
Nice heft to it too.
No wiggling at all... TOP !
The plastic grips have a wood look but a bit of sandpaper will make them look better.
The revolver is very precise and powerful.
For those who are in this: the metal of this Barra revolver can be 'blued' with Cold Blueing...
I give this revolver a global rate of 8/10
(Would be 9/10 BUT the bold and ugly white markings on different places on the revolver, bothers me !!!)
Cons
° Very high shipping costs to Europe (>70 USD !!!)
° Ugly white markings pin the revolver
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.OK, here it goes, buying this new little friend was real good, easy, and P---ed of my wife. She doesn't understand this part of our relationship, but we are still together. Anyway, I really like this pistol, I've always had a soft spot for western weapons. And here it comes, The only thing I would like to see on this Schofield is a set of white pistol grips. Haven't found any yet. Anyone want to help? Manila Mike

I choose the 5 inch barrel because it reminded me of the Sheriff's addition of another earlier black powder pistol. Plus I thought that a gun fighter would use the shortest barrel to be quicker to draw down on an opponent!
Pros
I love the fact that this revolver loads and shoots just like a real Cowboy pistol gun!!! It's a whole ton of fun to load, shoot and reload again!!!
Cons
The fit when closing could be a little tighter and be more firm when closing the breach.
