When I was unboxing the thing, I was like Ho Lee Chit this thing is a monster. I spent 15 minutes looking for wheel kit. Anything this big and heavy needs wheels. I find it tiring to shoot because of weight. The accuracy leaves something to be desired. But all in all, a nice air gun.
Pros
A very accurate replica of S&W #3. Works like a dream. I haven't had any problems. The weight and hand feel are almost the same as the original.
Cons
Those horrid plastic grips. The mickey mouse Allen wrench located in left grip. (I use a 7/32 Allen wrench, instead of the supplied one.)
Pros
Break open shell eject & reload plus the weight and balance of this revolver.
Cons
White dot on front sight. Hard to see sight on dark targets.
Pros
All metal construction is a big plus.
Cons
Plastic grips are a big negative. CNC could easily be used to bang out wood grips. Also, a recommendation for the best pellets that work in the pistol would be nice. An adjustable rear sight is recommended, because smooth bores need all the help they can get. A rifled barrel would be a good idea.
Use H.K.S. #586 speed loaders; it took me a while to figure out which ones fit the "bullets", so I hope this will save someone else the trouble.
Pros
Accurate, 99% metal, decent finish, Ejects smooth
Cons
It has a safety (I know, I know, kinda has to these days; but there's nothing wrong with half-cock)
Pros
It’s a Schofield Pattern Revolver!! That’s worth two stars by itself!
Cons
It has a smooth bore barrel ????!! It’s such a nice, accurate replica, it has to be offered as a rifled barrel pellet pistol!
Put me down for a set of two when that’s available!
Gun functions well and is about as accurate as you can expect from a smooth bore bb gun
Pros
Well made about as close as one could expect to the real thing. I was glad to see they got rid of the billboard on the side.
Cons
I would remove the safety, but I imagine some states require it.
Reading about Jessie James and knowing he used a Scofield I thought it was such a cool gun. I went to Northfield Minn. To see his failed robbery there. They have a Scofield and other guns there. This is a faithful reproduction. Beautiful, heavy, just so cool love it.
Pros
Every thing about it.
Cons
Don't like the white print on the side... I can live w it.
I have four pellet hand guns but the Schofield no.3 is the best pellet hand gun ever. It has the feel of the real thing. All metal, quality workmanship, nice trigger pull, and accurate.
This is a great air gun. All metal construction well made. Having done Cowboy Action shooting for years, found it to be expensive. But owning an air gun and doing target practice is a great way to save money. This was my first air gun revolver and I liked it so much I purchased the Schofield #3 Nickel version as well. They both fit in my holsters and they look like real guns.
Pros
Inexpensive
Great Quality, well made
Can shoot both BBs and pellets, if you get the pellet casings.
All metal construction
Great display piece
Cons
No Con that I can find.

asked Risel from USABeen having trouble looking for a holster that would fit this thing, any suggestions?
asked Michael from USAOn the less expensive end of the scale, Walmart has a leather holster that will work with this pistol. It's not "period" for this gun but it is good quality and all leather.
Douglas from USAIs this the same gun as the ASG? Thanks.
asked Henry from USAIt may be made by the same factory. The BB/pellet version has plastic grips.
Mark from USAWill the Schofield No. 3 BB Revolver shoot dart?

Mark from USAThe pellets load into the shells? How many extra shell should I buy.
asked Daniel from USAYes. Pellets load in each shell individually. The gun takes 6. Order in multiples of 6.

asked Vincent P KowalskiWill this pistol shoot pellets or just BBs?
asked Joe Dyou advertise a 177 pellet cartridge for this revolver as well as a BB cartridge, dose that mean it can also fire pellets and dose it have a rifling barrel.....thanks David.
asked DavidHas anyone tried the pellet style shells now available for this pistol ? Also will the H&N round ball ammo damage the barrel ?
asked Ronald from USAThe description of this gun tells nothing about the shells that are used with it. I have a whole lot of extra shells that I bought for my Colt Peacemaker BB shooter. Will they work in this gun?
asked William from USA
Pros
Gun has a nice feel, overall looks and performs good.
Cons
After shooting about 50 rounds I have no complaints. If you want to shoot pellets make sure you get the cartridges designed for them, pellets won't perform well using the BB cartridges.
