This is a beautiful rifle, made with the finest materials. The laminated stock is gorgeous in the sunlight and the photos do not do it justice. I decided on the .25 for extra varmint stopping power, and have been very pleased with the accuracy. The scope is very well matched with this rifle, and after sighting in, contributed substantially to the accuracy. It likes all types of high quality pellets. Please note that this rifle has a noticeable recoil, which moves the stock into your shoulder, rather than raising the barrel up. It is also quite heavy, and I would recommend a sandbag and stool if shooting at >25 yards for longer periods of time. Also, the break barrack mechanism is very stiff. I've found the best way is to give it a strong snap at the beginning and end of the cycle. The stock is designed for right eye dominant shooters, but I'm left eye dominant and had no problem. All in all worth the 1k investment since this is the best breakbarrel rifle that money can buy.
Pros
The Aston Martin of rifles- gorgeous, powerful and superbly engineered.
Cons
Great effort is required to complete the break barrel cycle. Unless you are a body builder don't plan on shooting this rifle for longer than half an hour at a time.

William from USAWhy are there no reviews listed for this rifle? I am looking for a qualiy air rifle to learn how to shoot with and maybe kill rats with and this one appeals to me but it appears no else has ever commented on this rifle. Danks
asked DanksDanks, Unfortunately there are no customer reviews for the Beeman RX-2 Elite Series .22 Caliber Combo Air Rifle yet; however, it is a great gun that would definitely take care of any rodent problem you might have. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USAWhich one is the most lethal and accurate: Beeman rx-2 elite .22 or .25 cal?
asked kennyAs a safe bet, go with the .22. If this is rated at 860fps in .22. And considering the price, it's going to deliver 15 ft lbs of force. A .25 cal similar in power plant will probably rate at 650-700 fps. It will deliver right around 11ft lbs, so I'd say go with the .22
