Loud even after 500 shots. It kicks, but it is a NP2. Do not like the grip or stock. The scope is not that bad as people complains. My first (own) air rifle and the first NP2 I hear/shoot. Still working on my accuracy.
Pros
Powerful, Trigger adjusting screw excellent.
Cons
Stock need to be adjustable, loud to my comfort.
Being new to owning a break barrel air rifle it was easy to start shooting right out of the box. Read the instructions that came with the rifle, mounted the scope and within 30 minutes I was in the back yard shooting my home made target. I have not properly got the scope zeroed yet due only to the fact that I currently do not have a way of keeping the rifle immobile. But that has not stopped me from learning where I need to aim to plunk the little varmints that think they rule the yard. The instructions say that the break in period is at 250 pellets, I have not reached that limit yet, getting close, and I do feel that the accuracy is improving.
Pros
Easy to break the barrel, low maintenance, quiet enough to not alarm the neighbors
Cons
Maybe the fact there is no sling attachment built in
Very pleased with this .22 cal rifle. Once I adjusted the scope, it proved to be quite consistent with the Crossman Premier Hollowpoints. At 10 lbs. including scope, it is a fairly heavy air gun. I found I needed to stabilize the barrel with a shooting stick before I could improve accuracy. No complaints.
I bought this rifle to fill a need for squirrel removal. I have owned other spring powered guns, and really did not enjoy them. This gun still packs a punch with recoil, but is very manageable, and fairly quite. Accuracy at 50 yes is awesome. I have filmed my opening, scope mounting and sighting in for a soon to be released You Tube video review.
Accuracy at 20 yeards, after about 100 shots is less than 1/2" for 5 shots using a prop on my knee sitting hold, I am 63, and have shot big bore guns all my life, target and hunting. This gun is so accurate it is great for small game out to 50 or so yards.
Pros
Easy to cock, adjustable trigger, great accuracy and power
Cons
As always, the supplied scope, adaquate for a time, but I changed to a
UTG Leapers 30 mm tube mil dot scope, wow what a diff. When holding my check on the stock while aiming, the recoil can be a little hard. After 100 shots I had a bruised check, and the scope mount hade moved back about 1 inch, keep everything really tight. This gun delivers some power.
Hard hitting and accurate
Pros
Powerful and accurate nice trigger
Cons
None
After attaching the scope (I'm a novice), it took about 2 hours to consistently hit a quarter-sized target at 20 yards. Nice piece of equipment and good scope. The squirrels in my neighborhood will NOT like me having this fine pellet rifle.
So far I've shot maybe 100 thru it, still in the break in stage. It kicks harder than i thought it would, trigger and safety is plastic but once you get it adjusted to your liking its consistent. Mine seems to like the light pellets and is a lot more accurate with them but that produces that crack like a 22lr so thats not good. Still looking for the most accurate pellet under 1000 fps. I've tried the really heavy pellets which may work at very close range but at 11 yards the 16.2 pellets drop a good 3" on paper. The rifle actually is a lot easier to cock i feel than some of the others I've used.
Pros
Over all Looks, easier to cock, strong with medium to light pellets, trigger feel once adjusted
Cons
trigger made cheaply (plastic) Metal would be better
power with no controll
Pros
kills deer
Rifle gets 5 stars. Scope gets 0 stars. Powerful and quiet. LOSE the scope that comes with it. Piece of garbage. Wouldn't hold a site. I just ordered the Hawke Vantage IR 4-16x50 and will report back on how they play together. Got the 22 version and shatters 7/16 ply at 36 yards.
Pros
Power Very Quiet (for springer with this much power)
Cons
Scope is a waste of money and time.
