According to airgun writer Tom Gaylord, the Benjamin Trail NP2 is the easiest-cocking gas-piston powerplant he's ever shot. And he should know, since he's tested just about every gas-piston gun made. This special combo includes a very nice CenterPoint Optics rifle scope that helps you home in on your targets -- critters, spinners, soda cans or bullseyes. Since you'll probably use the Benjamin Trail NP2 for hunting, we're including a Benjamin air rifle sling to make it easier to carry the gun for hours. You can also use the sling as a shooting aid to steady yourself.

This is a great gun for the price. Extremely accurate with some tweaking. Factory trigger sucks, but easy upgrades readily available that helps grouping considerably. Can achieve 1/2” groups easily @ 25 yards. Have tried a variety of pellets but Crossman Premier HP’s seem to shoot the best thus far. Would highly recommend.

Pros
Very accurate. Nice trigger upgrades readily available. Well balanced and hard hitting. Didn?t try the factory scope as I already had one that I wanted to use.

Cons
Factory trigger is not very good with too much creep and unexpected trigger release.

It's well worth the money. Overall finish is well done. The safety should be automatic but is not so watch it! It comes with a sling which is really great because this gun is heavy, it's not a kids gun. But overall it's a good gun I would recommend it. I gave it a four star instead of five because of the trigger pull.

Pros
Plenty of power. Wood stock is nicely finished. This gun is heavy, about the weight of an m1 grand, the supplyed sling is really a help. I adjusted the trigger but it is still to heavy a pull, I'll fix that later. I haven't fired enough pellets through it to break the barrel in. It groups five inches right now with gamo pellets. I'll fined some crossman pellets and try those. The scope is adaquate. Need to tighten up the group though down to at least 5/8 of an inch at thirty yards. I'll put a tin of pellets through it and see what happens.

Cons
Really heavy, but then again this is an adult rifle. Trigger is a little disappointing but I think that can be fixed with a longer adjustment screw. Other than that the gun is a keeper.

The barrel likes to drop slightly after cocking which makes it shoot low. Would like to return product.

After cleaning the barrel and breaking in, put a 4-16 AO UTG scope, sighted at 22 yards, will constantly put 5 shots in less than a dime! Smooth and easy to cock, almost as quiet as a PCP! Surpasses my Stoeger X20s, and other Benji's. My barrel is a little particular on pellet choice ... but will shoot 14.3 CHPs at around 870 fps with very tight groups. Even after tweaking, still don't like the trigger very much, and looking at options to change it to get the most out of this gun. Shoots 18+ grain pellets at just over 820 fps, but absolutely LOVES CHPs, so why bother with anything else? Nice feel, good looks, power, accuracy and easy to handle!

Pros
Very accurate, impressively quiet, shoots fast, hits hard.

Cons
Trigger? Does need tightening every once in a while.

It is very quiet. It is heavy to hold for a period of time, so I would order a sling when you purchase the rifle.

I bought this gun from the reviews I seen. I was not disapointed. Its well made, shoots dime size groups at 30 to 40 yards with no problem and penetrates a 1/2 inch plywood back board that holds my targets
This gun is very powerful and a enjoy to shoot. The scope for me gets the job done and no complaints. Very happy with this Rifle

Pros
power and accuracy and overall quality

Cons
none so far

I seem to have a lot of flyers with two different scopes. Is there any way to mount iron sights on this rifle?

asked J R Holder

I just purchased this air rifle. Reason #1 was that it was suppose to be really quiet. This thing sound like 223 going off. Is there a break in period to get it quiet?

asked Wayne Theilen

Having trouble getting it to group. Was hoping it was the cheep scope, I put a Leupold scope on it & did not improve. Tried different pelletts . Am inclined to put iron sights on the barrel as Im afraid the barrel is moving. Is there anything Im missing?

asked Darrel Jenkins

Bom dia! Quero comprar essa arma. Vocês enviam para o Brasil? Tem alguma taxa de importação?

asked Wilson de Oliveira Pedraça

How does the noise compare to a regular 22 rifle? Need quiet for neighbors.

asked Mike

Specs show a velocity of 1100 fps. for this .22, but the first reviewer said he gets 820-870. Anybody else chrono'd theirs ? And with what weight pellet ?

asked Lee

What kind of scope is it and what magnification? 3x9x40?
