The Beretta APX semi-automatic blowback BB pistol is yet another ultra realistic replica from Umarex USA. Originally designed as a replacement for the Beretta M9, U.S. Armed Forces standard issue, but deemed too expensive for the DOD, Beretta withdrew the APX and opted to modify the M9. As a result, the civilian world benefited by being able to purchase a mil-spec pistol that was "too mil-spec" for the military. Umarex's APX is built with a polymer frame and metal slide and has a true double action trigger. Accessories can easily mount to the front Picatinny rail, giving the user a real-world training tool or backyard plinker.

Pros
Ordered thru this site service and delivery all great no complaints.
Cons
Metal slide is lose and feels cheap. It cracked when I tried to bend the edges out just a little so the slide wouldn't have so much play but cheap metal chipped off . Save your money
good training for a beginner with guns
Pros
PRETTY MUCH LOOKS AND FEELS LIKE THE "REAL" GUN
Cons
it would be nice to have the cartridge and bb's in the same clip
Pros
Looks ok
Cons
The clip is the dumbest design. If it gets loaded, with even 1 bb, without the spring pulled down that clip is broken. I would not have bought if I knew this.
First timers in blowback look for this one.
Pros
Nice pistol, very realistic in all, great for practice.
Definitely recommend this pistol. Probably the best bang for the buck on this website !
Pros
Great price point. Reliable gun. I leave co2 in it for about a week sometimes and you can still pick it up and fire it no problem. Nice blowback and power, fair accuracy. All in all a great gun for the price !
Cons
Just a shaky slide, but other than that it’s a great gun.
Great pinker for the money.
Pros
Blowback with a pellet pistol, how can it be bad? I like the feel of this pistol, handles like the real steel. Quite accurate from 10 meters and backyard friendly. For a pistol at this price point you can't go wrong.
Cons
Include an extra mag.
This gun is comfortable, reasonably priced (like it's firearm counterpart), and pretty accurate for a BB gun. See the attached image. The top was the Walther CP99 BB aimed at the bullseye, and the bottom is the APX aimed at the Red dot that was about 3" below the bullseye. This was shot at only 5 yards.
The APX blew the Walther away at the same distance using exactly the same ammo. The APX already had 30+ shots on that mag when the Walther was on the second magazine.
Pros
I really love the look and feel of this gun. This was the second Beretta that I bought after the 92A1, and after almost a year, the Berettas are still the most comfortable guns to me. My 12YO son hit his first shot with this gun, and it had been his go-to behind the Beeman P17.
I really like the blowback of this gun and how it locks back when the mag is empty.
Cons
The safety on the actual firearm is a Glock style. Though I don't like Glocks, I wondered why they changed it. As a result, the safety is a little weird being on the side of the frame like it is, so you can take it off safe when putting it into a holster without knowing it.
I probably wouldn't have bought this gun if I hadn't bought the firearm version, but now that I've had the opportunity to shoot it I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, reliable BB gun. It's actually really accurate for a BB gun and has a decent kick. If you lay it down next to the firearm version it's a fairly accurate replica and most people will not likely notice the differences (see photo) -- so be sure to treat it with same respect and safety!
Pros
I purchased this BB pistol the same day I purchased my Beretta APX firearm in November, 2020. I wanted to have an inexpensive way to get more trigger time. I own numerous replica bb/pellet guns, and I have to say this is really good value. Some of my other replicas are more accurate when it comes to the details, but they also cost more than double what I paid for this gun. That said, this gun isn't a bad replica by any means. The build quality is top notch; the weight and look of the gun is really quite accurate, and it fits perfectly in the same holster I use to conceal carry my firearm. The two notable exceptions are the stick magazine and the trigger which lacks the safety found on the firearm and common on striker-fired handguns. However, the biggest difference is the actual trigger action. The pull on the BB gun is far longer, harder, and not as smooth as the firearm. With all that said, I am quite pleased with my purchase and have found it to be a lot of fun to shoot.
Cons
I would have preferred to have the CO2 cannister stored in the magazine as with the Beretta 92A1 (which I also own) to provide a more realistic experience when dropping and loading the magazine. Admittedly that probably would have significantly driven the cost up, but for me that would have been an acceptable trade-off.
This is a GREAT gun for the price.. feels a LOT like the real APX 9mm in weight, firing, and recoil.. of course the real 9mm is louder, more kick, and hitting power... ;-) but still great fun to fire when your not a location to fire the 9mm version. Ended up getting 2 of these.. one for me and my wife.. so would fire at the same time.
Pros
Very accurate if you have good control, easy to load, feels pretty realistic for a BB gun with the blow back (I also own a 9mm APX), and damn fun to shoot.
Cons
Needs a metal screw in knob.. the plastic one feels a bit weak. Takes a bit of effort to puncture the 12gram air canister. Need to listen closely to make sure its punctured. No other real faults I have found.

asked georgeI have gotten up to about 100-120 at about 15 feet. Once the air drops off the recoil from the blow back fails to work .. pretty sure sign you need a new canister. I was expecting a LOT less shots.. so that was pretty impressive.
