the magazine catch is prone to breakage. if you hold in the magazine release button when you insert the mag then it will not break. slamming the mag in without pressing the mag release could break the catch.

I have the exact same model, and I would replace the magazine with I new one. Did you shake the gun first to make sure of no stray BBs in the chamber? Also, the manufacturer recommends using steel BBs rather than copper-coated, because over time the copper residue may gunk up the barrel... When I reload, I fill the magazine with 15 or 16, instead of the max capacity of 19, to prolong spring life and might reduce incident of jamming. I then insert mag halfway, then pop it in briskly with palm of hand... I never had a problem with it. If that doesn't work, call479-646-4210 ask for Paul he gave me helpful advice on maintainanc. Keep in mind when people saye of that weapon. Keep in mind, despite so-called experts' claims, the guns DO NOT inter-changeable parts between different brands( I learned that the hard way) for example, you can use Daisy CO2 cartridges, NOT Crosman ones! They are tapered differently,Daisy ones hold pressure over 1 week, Crosman ones maybe 20 minutes! Yes, happens to mine too. But that's the magazines fault, not the gun's. When I bought extra mag clips, I got 'em at Walmart, since Big5 were out of stock... 1st thing I noticed was different material(!) The original was all metal, other ones a plastic/metal combo... On one of them the frigging BBs would ALL spew out before I popped it in the handle. I guess the hole that they eject from into the chamber is off by ?millimeteroh well I'll get more mags... It DOES NOT mean your gun is not fire-able, just replace the mag with one that keeps BBs in place when loading( also, EASE the spring mechanism towards the BBs when reloading, don't just let it 'snap' back in place😺. For the price it is a very good replica of the 92. It is mostly plastic and a lot of the levers and original safety are non-functional. The slide is fixed and no blow-back action. But the pistol is pretty powerful for the price. You do not have to cock it , just load with CO2 and BBs and turn the safety off and pull the trigger. I would say that this is better than some other pistols that are the same price.

Yes. No. And Yes you sound new to this...🙋its OK, they're not dumb questions. If it's your 1st BB gun, keep in mind that this particular gun is STRONGER than you think! ($560 replacement of sliding glass door!) There is no cocking because the BB is air-powered, not gun powder and primer powered...all BBs are designed like that. Be sure to learn and read ALL directions for this one- it behaves more like a real firearm than most others😏 if this is your 1st choice, you got lucky

Also David, you should check with local Wash.DC laws regarding where you can legally use that gun(I'm from Fairfax Co Virginia before moving west, I'm familiar!!) I also was told that steel BBs are less likely to jam up the barrel over long use than Copper coated ones.but I like the copper ones too, I'm trying to stop the temptation of them😇😅

He's right, the manufacturer said the same thing about Copper... But as far as falling out of magazine... My steel ones do the same thing on occasion, I thought it is due to magazine hole diameter on replacement mags not being precise. I even weighted the BBs separately, they are exactly the same size and weight... Which leads me... What are the guns used with the copper plated BBs?🙋

No, it does not have a full slide action and the slide is fixed to the gun. You do not need to cock the gun to load it. About the recoil, since this one is a CO2 gun, the recoil is not much. You can still feel a little bit of recoil (when the CO2 flows out) but the weight of the gun (Very realistic gun though) compensates it. On one note, this gun is very accurate and consistent for a CO2 gun.

I've owed this gun for about 2 months. It DOES NOT have slide action.. It does have a little kick back with a new CO2 installed. It's very accurate with a new CO2, but obviously as the gas runs out, shots drop etc (as you can expect from any CO2 powered gun. I actually bought a laser sight for it, and after a bit of adjustments, it pretty dead on when CO2 is full... If you don't believe me, you can ask the skunks and raccoons that have visited my yard. My only recommendation if you purchase this pistol (which I truly like and am happy with) is that you never ever ever purchase the copper Copperhead bb's... I got the .177's and they pop out of the clips... I'd suggest using the Daisy brand. Those hold in tight and secure. The Copperhead's fall out and jam up the pistol. Also, get some pellgun oil to keep the fitting to CO2 fitting lubed up and airtight... All in all, I think it's a great gun, has good weight to it so it almost feels like a real gun. If you're just plinking or target shooting in the back yard, it has enough power to keep anyone happy. I'm in the market for something with more power to get rid of my raccoon problem permanently.

Mostly plastic, metal for some of the internals. Co2 lasts around 100 shots. It does have a decent weight to it. Not like the real thing, but heavier than a lot of air pistols.

They are metal BB's. If it says "airsoft" that means plastic BB's. When if just says BB's that means metal BB's.
