The Black Bunker BM8 Breakbarrel Folding Rifle is a great survival tool. It’s available in either .177 or .22 cal and has an easy-to-cock gas ram powerplant. You get consistent shots with reduced noise in a foldable, easy-to-store package. It’s made to last using high-quality materials like reinforced polymer and folds down to fit in a backpack for easy transport.

This rifle is loaded with features like iron sights and a top Picatinny rail to mount your choice of optic. There is also a pair of side rails for your choice of accessories like a flashlight and bi-pod. When the rifle folds down, it wraps around a water-resistant storage case that’ll hold more survival gear or pellets. The BM8 excels at hunting small animals with pellets that can reach up to 1,200 FPS in .177 (1,000 FPS in .22).

The Black Bunker BM8 is designed to fit inside small places like a backpack and is completely safe once there because the cocking arm disengages removing all tension from the spring. To prevent foreign objects from falling inside the rifled steel barrel, it comes with a breech and muzzle cover. That way, you can rest assured that if the time comes, your tool will be ready.

Pros
Seems well made . The rifles workings are all metal , cocking effort feels like 35 pounds or so , not bad . I think it is a cool idea , but if lighter material was used the price would increase even more . Got my black 22 version on sale so I didn't have spend 300.00 . A moderator can used but most of the noise comes from the rifle itself .

Cons
I think the scope mount should be aluminum as the plastic piece has a certain amount of flex . It would take a pretty big backpack for this to fit in , regular packs can't handle this . This rifle is more of a novelty than anything else . At over 8 pounds scoped it is not light . Mine was shipped without the thread protector on the end to I contacted customer and they were very helpful in getting a replacement from Black Bunker . Plastic parts have a lot of flashing on them so I smoothed mine out . A few sharp edges .

Pros
I could get another color besdes black.

Cons
Nothing! Although I haven't shot it yet. It's been below zero here in Northern NY.

Definitely get a scope with it if you don't already have one.

Pros
Very nice compact rifle for camping or emergencies, I got the .177 cal but I recommend 22 for hunting not pest control. 3 rails for lights lazers & optics.

Cons
Very heavy.

The fact that it folds up like it does and shoots very accurately are selling points alone.

Pros
Transportation and storage is a huge plus with this one. It's exceptionally light and with the right pellet it will hit almost dead on every time. Open sights are fantastic and there is hardly any recoil at all.

Cons
It's not really that great with a scope and the cooking effort is a little heavy. The case is almost a little gimmicky but is good for storing ammo or small items. Seems to not really like pellets over 35 grain. These are very minimal complaints since as a whole this is a bad@$$ break barrel rifle.

Pros
Neat little shooter. Got it in black .22 and was happily surprised with build quality and detail. Easy to carry into the woods with raising any eyebrows and is a tack hammer as far as FPS.

Cons
Could use a real rear sight

Sick gun got it in .177 and im take out squirrels and bunny's with head shoots from around 50 to 75 feet. I use a 7g or 9g pellet has a dime consistency from said distance. using 5g you have about a 2-3inch spread and cracks like a 22lr

Pros
Insanely Accurate

Cons
None so far we'll see how it hold up with time

Great overall package deal. Definitely worth the money.

Pros
Accurate, solid build quality, power, maneuverability, not that loud even without a Donny on it

Cons
Wish they had a case for that can fit the rifle inside with a scope mounted.

I want to know how about BM8 cocking effort

asked Nhan Phu from USA

Is the Black Bunker BM8 threaded so I can put a muzzle on it

asked Sean from USA

From the bullet points: 1/2x20 muzzle thread

Adam from USA

Does it come with a knife and the pellets in the plastic case that the gun wraps around like I have seen in some videos or it the plastic case just empty and meant to be to store your own stuff and hold the gun when wrapped around it?

asked MICHAEL from USA

The only thing in the case is foam. There are no tools included.

Adam from USA

How does this air rifle/shotgun hold up to 15°F weather? Does it malfunction in that weather?

asked Grizzly Adams

No problems with mine so far .

Stanley from USA

How many shots do you get out of the shells?

asked Ethan Tate

This is a single shot pellet gun that shoots pellets only .

Stanley from USA

Where do you get #9 shot bbs

asked Dakota

Only shoots pellets .

Stanley from USA

I was very pleased with this gun until the plastic wad in the shotgun shell began to remain stock midway inside the barrel, preventing the pellets from acquiring any velocity. I cleaned the barrel, and purchased new stocks of shells, but the problem persisted. The gun has "GAMO Shadow Express" stamped on the barrel. What can I do? I really like the gun. Gian Argentati

asked Gian Argentati

This only shoots pellets . If you're trying to shoot shotgun shells no wonder it malfunctioned ?

Stanley from USA

will it kill a crow

asked jadon

I would use a bigger caliber .

Stanley from USA

Do the .22 cal pellets shoot very accurate with the smooth bore barrel

asked Colson

The barrel is rifled .

Stanley from USA

Does the adapter come with the gun?

asked Jonathan from USA

There no adaptor .What you see is what you get .

Stanley from USA

How good will this be on raccoons at 10-15 yards?

asked Mac

I would use a bigger caliber like 25 or 30 . This only comes in .177 or 22 so far .

Stanley from USA

Is the .22lr insert rifled?

asked Chuck from USA

This isn't a firearm . Uses air to propel the pellet .

Stanley from USA

How do you obtain an owners manual? The download link does not work.
