Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.I bought this item a few weeks ago. After about 20 shots, my safety slide for on and off will pop up about 3/16". I can push it back down and slide it on and off with out any problem. I guess my question is, is there a problem here, is it something I can fix, or is this normal? Great air rifle. Gordon
asked Gordon RothenayHow good is the accuracy? I am looking for the best accuracy.

Got to be impressed with the look and feel of this gun. Very good fit and finish. The one fly in the ointment is this bad boy is tuff to cock. It is not just the spring pressure it's all the linkages and even the pivot screw are UN believably tight. This adds considerably to the cocking effort. Been at this hobby/sport for 40yrs. Owned some pretty nasty springers some which will fire lead across my chrony at over 1000fps but this thing is harder to cock than any of them. One of the reasons for this is the barrel is not very long so you do not have much leverage but there is more to it than that.. The first time I shot this thing I thought something might be wrong so I stopped and investigated. Realised that the main problem was friction of all moving parts to the point of binding(but not quite). Decided to do something I have never done. Break a gun in and not shooting it! Here's what I did. Lubricated the linkages as per the owners Manuel to make sure it was not a lubrication problem and the locked the gun up between my legs and started partially cocking it over and over again. Did this 5-6 times over a 24hr period. It helped quite a bit. Still tight but manageable. Started shooting and liked the solid shooting cycle and good performance. I think this gun will perform very close to spec's with lead. Not sure this gun will be a keeper but I am getting stronger and it may take awhile to break in and we may meet half way. It's growing on me and is a lot of gun for the money.
Pros
It seems to be well built. Solid shooting cycle. Good power. Looks good. Nice sights and decent scope for this price point.
Cons
High cocking effort to power ratio. She's a porker!
