The Browning Gold performed as advertised if not better. Was able to get 2" groups at 30 yards offhand. Weight is a bit of a problem but not unusual in a springer. I would recommend this airgun since the performance and price are perfect. Also carrying the Browning name doesn't hurt.

When I tried this gun out, I was surprised how stiff every movement of my example of this gun was. It struck me as being well built but a little ruff around the edges. Hard to cock, heavy trigger, and seems heavier in my hands then 8.6lbs. After a few hundred rounds of shooting, things started to loosen up a little and the gun exhibited good power and solid shooting cycle. The trigger was still heavy and much to my surprise, not adjustable. That was a deal breaker for me and I returned the gun.

Pros
Seems well built Good power Solid shooting cycle

Cons
Very stiff cocking cycle Heavy So so on accuracy Poor trigger, probably part of the accuracy problem.

Is the velocity of this gun enough to kill a rabbit at 50 yards?

asked Gardner

800 FPS with a 22 caliber IS enough to kill a rabbit at 50 yards. Happy hunting :)
