Colt Python BB Revolver, Chrome

I know the zombie craze is cooling down, but let's face it, Rick Grimes Python is just bad***! This thing looks just like a Python, the only bad thing is the cheap looking grips. It has fully adjustable sights and is pretty accurate at reasonable distances. It's only a BB gun, so it doesn't have enough power to hunt with, unless you're hunting zombies. Now around these parts, the zombies are made of paper and none of them has tried to eat my brains yet, but just to make sure, the kids and I shoot as many as we can, and this gun gets quite a few shots from a CO2 cartridge, the only thing slowing you down is having to reload the "bullets " (I know, but the kids call 'em bullets, and I'm not gonna argue with them. All in all, I recommend this for anyone who wants an inexpensive revolver or just a nice replica Python. P.S. I subtracted one star for the grips, but it would've only been a half star if I could have.

I own both the black finish and now the chrome finish. I purchased the black model first and liked it so much I purchased the chrome model. This is one of the more accurate smooth bore BB pistols. This has fully adjustable sights and shoots well over the 400 fps. The action is crisp and precise as well.

I'm very happy with this Colt. It is very accurate for a BB pistol with open sights. It looks really nice and feels good in your hand. My middle finger didn't fit comfortably on the grip at first, but I adjusted my hold and now all is good. I really like how smooth it is to use the speedloader and the pellets with this gun. The Wesson models' speedloaders are not user friendly at all. They interfere with the handles of the guns and I've found you are better off just loading the shells individually. I can load that way almost as fast. But the loaders of this Colt work the way they should. Everything is really smooth on this gun. Parts fit is good, not perfect, but good. The hammer closed a bit too much to the left on my pistol, but I took a bit of metal off with the Dremel and now the clearance is perfect. Good CO2 use, maybe 10 loads, 60 or so strong shots. Firm but nice trigger. I'm very happy to have this pistol and you would be too.

A real looker, shoots well, Colt/Umarex got it right. One of the pictures shows this pistol with the Swiss Arms 6" version. Identical pistol; cartridges, speedloader work the same. Both excellent guns.

Cons
Parts fit not perfect, but close. Cylinder release tends to be loose.

Great shooting pistol out of the box.
Bbs load from the front of the shell unlike the peacemaker so you have to unload the shells to reload the bbs.
Shoots great with 6" barrel.
Fit and finish is top notch.

This revolver has an amazing look with chrome plated and brown grips. I do agree that this is not the exact western revolver, but with this revolver, its easy to load the BBs from the front side of the shells when the shells are still in the drum. It has both double and single action. Easy to shoot as it has the proper back cites too.

Also it fits like a glove in to the western style holster and that satisfies me to get the western look.

The functionality and the fps are as good as the regular black revolver.

I feel the cost need not be so much because the regular back is only $100 where as this is $30 more. But I am okie with it and very happy with this revolver.
