Very hard to pierce cartridges. Out of 25 cartridges only about 8 actually pierced. Waste of money on these newer models. My old model from 10 years ago pierces every cartridge. No longer a cross man fan.
A cheaply made bb gun and worth about half of what I paid. I will keep it but I would not recommend it.
"Airgun Depot" is a top supplier and would highly recommend.
Pros
none
Cons
cheaply made
I own both the 1911 and the S&W M&P 40. The latter is $3 more on this site and significantly better, easily more than $3 worth. Better feel, better accuracy, much better seating of the CO2, better workmanship; it's a better pistol.
This is a semi-auto plastic bb pistol that shoots bb's and not very well. Excellent for the price, but don't kid yourself about the quality. A beginning shooter should get something more reliable. I suggest this pistol for shooters on a budget who like to tinker around.
Overall, I can dig it, baby.
Pros
Nice sturdy mag.
Good design, I like the grip.
Cons
I'm always in suspense, wondering where the next bb will fly...
I have NOT had a single misfire or malfunction with this sweet shooting little air pistol (even while rapid firing it). Mine gets about 100 shots per Co2 cartridge (approx. 60-70 of those before beginning to slow down). My grandpa thought it was a .22 at first; now he wants one too.. Great for the price!
Pros
Accurate, easy to reload and tons of fun!
Cons
Plain black sight picture, but not bad once you get used to it. The safety is a little stiff (at first), gets smoother over time/with use though.
I did not like this pistol. I may have gotten a defective one, I don't know. It would not shoot where pointed, and had several fliers in the first magazine, which is all I put through it. So, choose another one, but stick with Airgun Depot, can't beat these guys for service and knowledge.
Best deal I've ever gotten on a bb pistol. Powerful, accurate and its accurate copy of the 1911.
This gun is based on the C11 platform that has been around forever. It's a nice little shooter for the price. I like the tactical rail because it will allow me to add a laser later. This gun is well worth the price.
Pros
Looks like a 1911
Inexpensive
Cons
plastic but to be expected at this price
Now the gun will jam and not fire, and upon removing the magazine, a BB will drop out of the chamber. Interesting. I did manage to fire about 15 shots before this started. The gun has a flimsy feel to it, and the brown grips are loose (the left one being the one you remove to access the CO2 chamber). I was surprised at the suddenness of the malfunctioning. For the price, I didn't expect the same quality as their $200 1911, but I expected more than one magazine and then it becoming a non-functioning device. Oh yes, the magazine doesn't want to stay in, either. Come on, Crosman and Air Gun Depot. You can do a little better than this.
Pros
Ease of trigger pull.
Cons
Construction
Shooting mechanism reliability (none, alas)
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. What is the barrel length and some data on projectile weight, velocity, and ambient temperature. I figure it has a 4 inch barrel, BB weight of 5.14331 grains, and ambient temperature of 87.98F, or 31.1C. Go figure!
asked FranciscoIs it fun to shoot it
asked aidan from USAMy initial impression was it was a little too loud but this was the presence of an echo where I was standing. The picatinney rail makes it fun to shoot, because it is the right size for many lights and lasers, and adds weight to an admittedly light replica, improving the feel, if you add on a easy to add on accessory. It is high power by comparison and utilizes a BB clip which in my opinion adds to safety and versatility of the BB pistol. I think it compares favorably with many products of the same category.
BRUCE from USAif the co2 gets out ... how much fr d new one.......?
asked mani ratan khannaMani, This particular pistol takes co2 cartridges that are sold separately from the pistol. The pistol takes one 12gram co2 cartridge; which can be replaced by removing the pistol grip. Hopefully that answers your question. Please contact us with any further questions you might have. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team

At first I had issues firing it, misfiring 9/10 but realized my bbs were oxydized. I purchased new bbs, copperheads and black widows, and I add a drop of oil in the clip at each co2 cartridge. So everytime I put a new cartridge, 1 drop on the cartridge tip, 1 drop in the clip.
I had 0 misfire since I started this routine.
Pros
Lightweight, affordable, shoots pretty sharp. Plain fun.
