First let me say AGD has been perfect with every purchase of mine, I am very impressed with this company. Now to the Vigilante. I have had 3 Crosman budget priced pistols and all three are cheaply made junk imo. But this one takes the cake. Accurate shooter when it actually fires. I read the manual before the first shot of every gun I purchase. Drop of oil on co2 etc.. No matter what I have tried with this thing, the mags do not advance right on every shot. Thought at first the mags just needed some break in time, but I think the gears that advance the mads are defective. Also, it looks like the barrel itself is allowed to move inside the shroud. That might be part of the problem. It happens at least twice per each mag. It advances part way, then a misfire and the pellet is ruined. I an not going to fool with warranty on cheap pistols. Bottom line? 3 budget priced Crosman pistols and 3 miserable failures. I have a Gamo p-430 that has been absolutely reliable AND budget priced.
Pros
Price, accuracy
Cons
Totally unreliable, the last lower priced Crosman pistol I will buy, probably the last Crosman period. 3 out of 3 throw aways within a year. Sorely lacking in QC or R&D. Crosman is not what it used to be, not even close.
Pros
Very accurate right out of the box I would highly recommend this pistol
I got it and got able to shoot for around 1/2 weeks I dropped it and the back sight broke so I ordered one off eBay and I have to take off the body cover
To put in the rear sight in and parts started flying out I put it back together and the trigger wouldnt reset so I ordered a m17 pellet pistol overall this was an amazing revolver
Cons
Plastic rear sight
The only reason I didn't give this pistol 5 stars is for the reasons listed in my "Cons", which are "aimed" at the way the pistol is described and the information provided as I had to place an additional order before I could shoot the pistol. A great 1st CO2 pistol!
Pros
Pistol came almost ready to shoot out of the box (sights only needed a slight adjustment), easy to read instructions and pistol was easy to load and shoot. No problems shooting BBs, had an issue with shooting pellets (see my "Cons" comments). This is my first CO2 pistol and it's a blast to shoot!
Cons
The review for this pistol needs the same information as the Vigilante Combo (such as don't shoot pointed pellets [which I did and they jammed], add a drop of pellet gun oil [which I had to place a 2nd order along with a holster before I could shoot the pistol], buy extra discs, etc.
Pros
Very good value for the money, gets a good amount of shots per co2 cartridge and has very descent penetration power for an air pistol. Easy to load and very easy to handle. Also no risk of Jamming, great for target shooting and pest control I highly recommend for both airgun beginners and veterans.
Cons
nothing it's great gun for its price.
I remember the old days and pell gun oil used all the time is a must. Clean the barrel And add drop of "Crossman pell gun oil" on top of every CO2 cartrige before installing, this will give you great performance. If you use some other oil you will get problems. My pistol gets 5 mags 50 shots accurately and then some. But that is when I change CO2 cartrige needed or not. @ $1.50 per 50 shots not a big deal. A little oil down the front of hammer helps the trigger. Overall this is one of the Tried and true Crossman pistols. Total cost with all the goodys about $100. depending on how many CO2s you buy. Amount of fun Priceless!!.
Pros
Much better than the one I had 25 years ago. Realy good groups @ 30 feet as good as some real revolvers. Had all kind of old mags they never changed a thing. Great shooting indoors. Not loud. Next door neighbor thinks i'm using a fly swatter Lol. Loves the Destroyers and wadcutters from crossman. But for my pistol the RWS Meisterkugeln 8.2 grn wadcutter produces groups 1/3 the size of others. Excelent shipping and packaging from AGD.
Cons
Grip design is still the same, figured they would change that but it works ok. Fit my hand great. Wish it came in box.
I bought a dozen clips and that gives me a lot of target time. I recommend you pick up at least a couple three-packs if shooting is what you’d rather do than reload.
Pros
This gun, the Vigilante, is a great pistol. I’m getting three good clips (30 rounds) on one CO2 capsule. The accuracy is great and it’s as good at 50 yards as it is at 75. Lately I’ve used wad cutter pellets so it’s easier to see my groupings. They’re not as accurate as some pellets, still the gun stays accurate.
Cons
Shorter trigger pull would be a nice addition. Also would like to see a different way to change out CO2, rather than having to pull the grips.
pretty good air pistol its my very first semi automatic pistol and I love it and it's shoots BB's and pellets so over all 5/5 stars
Pros
Sleek sexy and looks like a real 357 and sounds really nice
Cons
when you pull the trigger with the safety on it still fires
When i put first co2 cartridge in didnt work, thought gun was a lemon,I released the co2 and put new one in an gun worked fine,(dont know why)
Pros
nice power ,first view rounds were scattered then grouped better as breaking in,(basement range ,until winter is over)Overall im pleased with this purchase
Cons
Gun dosent like BB`s they dont work well(maybe its the clip seeing how some of BB`s didnt release)I dont have new one to verify problem ,pellets were fine
Have lots of ammo ready! Lol
Pros
Lots of fun to shoot. Sights were off from the factory but once they were zeroed in I was hitting dime size groups from 35ft. And getting a good 65-70 rounds out of each cart.
Cons
Plastic grips could be a better material but still a fun gun to shoot. And a great product for the price point!
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. What is the issue? I cant seem to get the CO2 cartridge to fire. It just goes puff. No pow to it at all. I followed the manual to the T and nothing I try works. New CO2 cartridges ( have used up 6). The pistol fired once only and that was the very first time and the pellet went about 30 feet. Help?
asked Laura from USAcan it fire plastic bb's?
asked Ambrose from USACan it shoot darts?
asked Terri from USAwill it kill a squirrel
asked Liam from USABasically no. Maybe it would be possible at point blank range, with extremely precise shot placement and almost supernatural luck. It totally lacks the power for a reliable one-shot kill on anything that large (even twice the fps would barely be adequate).
Bubba from USAyes
Adam from USADoes the gun have a safety or anything to stop it from firing?
asked Eric from USAyes there is a switch/lever that stops the hammer from striking the co2 release
Adam from USAafter about 3 co2 and 150 pellets it refused to fire. someone at a gun shop said maybe the seal? was bad. where do i send it for repair. no receipt
asked donna from USAHow do I purchase a 4 inch barrel?
asked Darrin from USAno 4 inch barrel but there is another variation of this that is comes with a 3,6,&8 inch barrel
Adam from USAHow many shots do you have to put through this thing to breack ot in,mine always shoots way to high
asked David from USAIs a holster included
asked Caryn from USAOnly if you buy the Crosman Vigilante Combo available here at AD. It includes the pistol, five mags and a holster for less than the cost of each item purchased separately.

Adam from USAI have a one year old gun & the seal? Has deteriorated? Won’t keep co2 cartridge can I get a new seal & install?
asked JSWill it shoot darts?

asked RockyDEAR SELLER SEND US THIS ARTICLE TO CHILE? WHEN IS THE VALUE OF THE SENDING POSITIVE? THANK YOU
asked LUIS ADOLFO from ChileCan you use the same magazine more than once
asked Danny Pateyes just reload when needed
Adam from USAPut the canister in a completely leaked out where do I find new seals
asked Buddy AllenCan someone explain to me how do i get the same velocity n power out of evwry pellet or bb
asked Jeffvelocity/power decreases with every shot u take when using this revolver. pellets will hit harder because they engage with the rifling of the barrel and i suggest using lead pellets only because metal bbs will ruin rifling with prolonged use
Adam from USACan a 7 old who hunts with his dad handle this gun. He is very advanced and loves to hunt deer, hog, etc. just want something for him to target practice with. Blow up some cans at grandmas house. It looks awesome and adding the laser would be fun for him, and adding accessories. I like that it shoots bb's and pellets for the future.
asked SonjaHow powerful is this gun? Is it strong enough to pierce a watermelon?
asked johnyes it will pierce a watermelon but i doubt it would pass through
Adam from USAThe grips are loose and floppy after extended use. Does anybody know of a "fix" for this, or where to purchase replacement grips?
asked Georgewould this be good for small pest like stray cats
asked austinWhy would you shoot stray cats? Sounds like you have too much time on your hands.
Jennifer from USANO! Shooting stray cats would be inappropriate for a number of reasons, but more specifically, shooting any animal the size of a cat with THIS airgun would only result in injury and torture of the animal. Regardless of your intentions, it's HIGHLY UNLIKELY that a humane "kill shot" is achievable, but probable that IF the animal does dies, it will be a long and languishing death. More likely, the animal won't die, but will be suffer for too long. Find a better solution to your problem, please.
Victor from AfghanistanI live out in the country and have used it to scare, get rid of rabbits, field mice, snakes and even the occastional racoon. Have a dot sight on mine that helps with quick sight picture with moving targets. Have not had any problems with my gun
Greg from USANo. It does not shoot at a high enough velocity. All you will do is wound the animal and cause it to needlessly suffer. Get yourself an inexpensive .22 cal pellet rifle.
Kevin from USAwhen will this be in stock
asked [email protected]Stan, This particular item is back in stock now. We have over 20 in stock. make your purchase now. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USAON AIR GUN DEPOT HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST FOR CO2
asked DANIELDaniel, Depending on what quantity you purchase in the CO2 you would be looking at anything from 5 to 10 dollar range. Hopefully that answers your question. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USAhi , do I need a certificate if I buy this ?
asked jetJet, Please contact our International Shipping Department at [email protected]. They can answer any questions you might have. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USAI wish to know the 357 stands up well to long use and any problems that may arise with the locking system
asked verdun from USAi have had mine for over 2 years now and with proper care, its been holding up well. the rear grips do not work well though so i just use it without them. and by *locking system* do you mean the safety? because the safety is pretty simple and works perfectly
Adam from USADoes it shoot arrow heads?
asked jasonYes it will shoot arrow heads but I recommend using only crosman pellets for they fit more snug in the clip.
Kyle from USAIs the item worth the money? And is it all metal?
asked Julius BennettThis item is definitely worth the money! Other retailers have it at around $65. But the price is just icing on the cake. It's highly rated by a lot of customers (over 260), and according to one review is as good as other similar air-pistols costing 3 to 5 times as much. But none of that is as important as my own personal experience with it. My experience with it has been very good. It's very accurate. It has a decent trigger (as single-action and double-action). I get around 70 good shots per CO2 cartridge. The sights are excellent, with the rear being fully adjustable in both elevation and windage. It is not all metal. It has a lot of plastic, but that is not such a bad thing. The plastic is durable, but also makes the pistol light. This is a very good training gun. If you execute proper fundamentals, this gun will hit its mark. It will also expose YOUR weaknesses. The lightweight, good trigger, and accuracy will help isolate fundamental weaknesses, so that you will know what to improve upon. Any expert will shoot well with this pistol. It delivers. You don't need blow-back, and you don't need a heavy gun to master pistol fundamentals. So you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars for something that perfectly simulates a firearm. Recoil tends to mask the shooters mistakes. That's why ALL world class shooters "dry-fire". This pistol provides the best of all worlds for perfect practice. It shoots like dry-firing, and yet because of it's accuracy, it will allow you to measure YOUR performance. It's cheaper than taking many times as long to figure out where and how your are weak using live firearm ammo.
Victor from AfghanistanHi there. It is not all metal but it shoots beautifully and very accurately. Zeroing the sights is easy enough with a flat screwdriver. Make sure you buy a bunch of spare co2 cartridges, they're 12 grams but they go quickly. The action is easy and smooth; it is DA as well as SA. It has an excellent heft and fits in a large hand well. The ergonomic grip is particularly comfortable and there is - in my opinion - no kickback. It is somewhat quiet since the only real noise is that of the gas discharge. I haven't evaluated the duration of a co2 cartridge, but it seems to be satisfactory. It is a fine looking specimen and is extremely fun to shoot.
Kevin from USAfree shiping if I order this item Crosman 3576w air pistol $29.99 thank you
asked nguyen leNguyen, We offer free shipping on orders over $179. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USACan you mount a red dot reflex sight on it?
asked Shea from USAYes a scope/sight can be mounted, but needs to be able to fit the 11mm dovetail configuration on the top of this pistol's barrel. Crosman and other manufacturers do make such sights although I was unable to find the Crosman red-dot sight I have employed on my Crosman 357 here under sights. It does work well, however for a cheap sight, and has made an already accurate air pistol much more so! There is a sight here that may well fit and work well for under $20. Here is the link: http: //www.airgundepot.com/nc-star-red-dot-sight-1x25-compact-red-dot-integrated-weaver-and-dovetail-mount.html#reviews This may be one of the sights whose mounting bracket simply is reversed to fit either a Weaver/picatinny or the dovetail mount, but best to check before ordering it.
Rick from USAWhat is the difference between this gun and the Crossman 357 other than the free cylinders and holster?
asked TimNo difference. Exact same gun. The pack w/ the free cylinders & holster is the BEST DEAL. Can't find a better deal anywhere but here in AGD.
TheJohnny from USAWould this have enough power to kill a squirrel out to 25 yards?
asked steven from USAThis may, but why kill him? also the amount of co2 in the cartridge, say new one verses old one almost out of power makes a difference.
gloria from USAdoes it come with co2 cartrages
asked tIncludes: Pistol and (1) 10 Round Clip
Scott from USAis it made of metal ?
asked LukeNo it is not made out of metal.
Scott from USAWhat does this include? is it just the gun?
asked Mark from USAJust the gun
Scott from USAIs this metal?
asked JackJack, The barrel of the Model 3576W Magnum CO2 Air Pistol is made of rifled steel, however, the grip/frame is synthetic. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Steve from USAWhat size CO2 cartridge does this use?
asked Wade12 Gram CO2 = https://www.airgundepot.com/crosman-15ct-co2.html
Mark from USADoes this gun shoot pellets or just BB's?
asked JimThis gun will shoot pellets only, do not use bbs.
Steve from USAcan you also shoot bb's with this gun ?
asked thomas from USAyes you can it gives you a disk for bb
stuard from USAThe answer to your question is no. A pellet measures .177 and a bb measures .172 and would not stay seated the disk. Also the bb would not engage the rifleling in the barrel resulting the loss of accuracy.Hope this information was helpful.
kenneth from USAPellets only.
Conor
it has oversized grips for medium hands.
Pros
Overall accurate shooting. But not enough shooting to really know.
Cons
Magazine has no lockup mechanism to prevent it from rotating out of index position if not fired immediately, thereby preventing a blank shot. There is no second stage trigger in double action.
