When you remove the top of the gun ,you can replace the stock spring with one 3 times the diameter. And get almost 600 fps. Hits like a 22cal.

I have had my Cll for 7 yrs+ get 80 shots out of a co2 , I have e ran aprox.30,000 lbs through it . And it's acurate.

It needs better screws to hold it to geather, for repairs and mods. And the co2 cage needs beffed up so the bottom doesn't break after tightening the turn screw , it weakens.
Its a low priced gun and theres a reason for that....Stay clear unless you want problems...

I probably shot this gun fewer than 200 times before the valve assembly or seal or something broke. Now when I try to put in a new canister it doesn't puncture properly and the entire canister is immediately wasted. It looks like the needle that punctures the canister has broken off. Not worth buying the part to fix it because it's almost the same price as the entire gun. The gun also feels really cheap and the sliding grip that covers the canister access area is really loose and slides easily.

asked CyrilMine jammed as well. Very Gently take a sharp object like a knife or stiff razor and pry the magazine out. Inspect that magazine to see the are that's holding the magazine into the gun. First try a little PELLOIL to that part of the magazine and if that doesn't work try shaving the area that's jamming as to take off that high point causing the jamb. AGAIN, I had the Same problem and this was my fix. Since then, No Problems. I hope this helps you.

asked JoeIf the Teflon Thread Tape doesn't work, try a dab of PELLOIL to the tip of the CO2 Cartridge prior to installing into the gun. This works for my CO2 guns so the air does not leak. Also, remember that CO2 cartridges WILL lose air at temperatures of 50 degrees and below so use and store them accordingly.
Robert from USATeflon thread tape will solve that problem. Just apply a small piece of tape on the co2 cartridge and no more leaks. You will have to apply the tape every time you change the cartridge.

asked ED SMITHYES there is. Copper BB's are porous and will not always fly straight where Steel BB's don't have that problem. You will find steel BB's ARE more accurate. I use only the Hornaday Black Steel BB's and have no problem with accuracy. Try them and see for yourself.

asked CynthiaHi, Not sure if this will help, but, you are talking about using this as a nuisance eliminator. If you are 10' away from a raccoon, you are too close, on the off chance it is rabid or stupid. As a cheap method of startling the deer, etc. this works, but it will not remove them nor will it keep them out of the garden when you are not around. However, I definitely would recommend the C11. It is fun to shoot and it might get you interested in the shooting sports which might really help in getting rid of the deer, et al. Just do it and enjoy the practice!

Although, I also carry a small Pocket stun gun for back up? You never really know what a animal or human will rerack when you pop them With a BB gun? & depending where you live you can carry a airgun where you can't real firearms? Check you're Local laws? Dustin from USAWe have the same pest-control needs, with chipmunks, squirrels, deer, bear. I had purchased a refurbished crossman pistol for my problem. However, on first use, I went through three CO2 cylinders without firing a shot because the seal immediately leaked all CO2 at each attempt. Buying "Refurbished" did not work for me. I discarded the gun and now use a Daisy single shot BB gun. It works for the small creatures and the deer. (The bear comes at night to do his damage, so we have not solved that one yet.)

Edward from USAI received the C11 this afternoon, and hate to say it but it does not perform as I thought it would. Putting the CO2 cartridge, too much leaks before it is seated. When ready to fired, it fired in auto for five (5) rounds and it jammed. Had to removed the clip, which was a hassle because there were BBs loose. Tried 3 CO2 cylinders but can only get about 3 clips, 54 rounds per cartridge. Not very good....

richard from USAI have a Crosman 1191BB Co2 and hate it. I can never load a cartridge without it losing all the gas. The twisty thing on the bottom has a spring in it that keeps it folded up. One twist will not load it but stops just as the gas is coming out to by the time you get the spring loaded tab back and twist again all the gas is gone. Do you know how to load it otherwise?

Dustin from USAMost certainly not. It will maim the squirrel and cause it considerable suffering, but will not kill it. This gun is for target practice or shooting cans in the back yard. It hasn't the power to kill a small animal. You need a high-powered air RIFLE for such activity. There are many models to choose from. Go on makers' web sites (Crosman, Gamo, Ruger, Stoeger, etc.) and get your information, but take velocity claims with a grain of salt; most high velocity numbers are achieved with synthetic, not lead, pellets. Then find video reviews of the rifles you are interested in on line (Google "air gun reviews" for the models you are interested in) and finally buy from a reputable company like Air Gun Depot. The C11 feels good in the hand but isn't a high-powered or especially accurate air pistol. It is fun to shoot, though. Just buy extra BB magazines.

ConorYes the crosman c 11 will kill small game at close range no more than 75' with a fresh c02 cartridge . I target shoot 1/16" plastic at 75' and it will go through the target with fresh c02 . This pistol not only feels great in your hand it's dead accurate right out of the box it's one of my favorite pistols .
Kenneth from USAI don't think it would kill a coon. They're tough critters. I use a pellet gun on them. It should take care of a rabbit, but I haven't had them in the back yard (fortunately). Good luck.

if you looking for accuracy get a rifle otherwise this gun is great. accuracy like a said is amazing for a pistol. ts FPS is good again for a pistol. This i great sidearm. There is one reason y its 4 stars. the magazine is doest a a good loading lock so if you drop the mag, all the bulets will be launched out and you have to start again.
