Crosman DPMS SBR, Flat Dark Earth

My nephew brought it over (eight years old). I thought is was my cousins SBR. It looks very real and full auto into an old dryer was a blast. It feels really durable and still works after he left in the rain (some rust on the bolt).

Cons
It needs to have a orange end. They live in town and some cowardly cop might shoot him.

The full auto is super fun.

Higher capacity mags would be nice if Crosman made them.

This was bought as a gift for me by my son. It's a fun gun to shoot in auto mode. Not bad except for the cheap sights...I strongly recommend ordering a Holographic sight. He also bought me the Hellboy. Comparatively, the Hellboy is superior, it's metal construction and feels real. However, it only fires semi-auto and is not blow back. The DPMS SBR in auto really blows through CO2 cartridges and BB's...two CO2 cartridges lasted four reloads (25 BB's each load).

Fun to shoot in auto, like the blowback action.

Cons
Don't care for the overall plastic construction. Though the upper and lower receiver, stock, and barrel shield are acceptable the smaller components should be metal. Worse yet, the plastic front and rear sights are not iron as the box implies! In fact, the plastic sights are cheap and basically worthless. The free speed loader I got does NOT work, junk! I also don't like how the side of the magazine, plastic cover, snaps on and off.

The sights are OK, the rear is adjustable so you can get very accurate, but they are not the spring loaded ones that snap up, they can get knocked or jolted out of place. Overall its fun & good for training, I think the R1 may be better due to the AR compatible stock.

This things is heavy & accurate, nice power. Pretty realistic. Takedown is easy, I like the foregrip. Compact but not too small.

Cons
There are a few things I dont like; it jams a lot unless you use Crosman bb's & co2. BB's get stuck in the barrel when it gets low on co2. Also the stock to me is uncomfortable, I would rather it be AR compatible to I could change it out like on the R1. The grip is also uncomfortable but this can be changed out. There are also some sharp edges on this thing which can chafe your fingers, like under the trigger guard.

Very Nice rifle,I haven't shot it yet but it's cool looking and feels like a real one,I'm sure it's gonna be awesome,I wanna read the owners manual before I take it out and I will it's just very hard to read because it's printed so small but as soon as I'm done with my magnifying glass reading it I plan on taking it out, It shouldn't be so hard to read if safety is important,I'm just saying

I would want more rounds in the clip,I haven't shot it yet but I think I'm gonna want more in there, and the owners manual should be printed in bigger letters,very hard to read

I got this as a gift but that same day it was just really really fun and everything with this gun is great but there are a few thing that arent so great. over all this gun is still a must buy if your pockets are deep enough but if you already got yourself a good one that you like maybe just stick with that unless you really want it

the feel to this gun and how it shoots and the abillty to put other optics on it make it so much better then with just no optics, i put a red dot not long after i got it and you and still use the iron sights because its small enough to give it a bit of space to look through.

this gun with shoot full auto but jam half way and still use co2 so i think i'm shooting but i'm not and the the first time it jammed i thought that the co2 ran out so fast but its because i had to pull the thing on top dang it I forgot what its called but you have to do that so often it kinda sucks when there are like 10 BBs left and you have to pull again while in full auto and it ends to quickly regardless because it only holds 25 BBs you might as well give us 30 or even 40 but thats just my opinion

this is the worst gun i’ve ever bought DO NOT BUY IT it shot 3 magazines and then it broke right after and the barrel is basically impossible to clean and unjam and once it breaks they have the worst customer service ever they won’t respond to anything also it barely shot 300 fps and even through many different cleaning techniques the bbs were still curving and dipping down. i have bought 20$ airguns that lasted longer and shot better and faster the fact this gun is even sellable is sad THEY ARE SCAMMING YOU

I love this gun it is so fun to shoot very heavy and sturdy especially the clip. Had my dad give it a try and now he wants to get one. Want to shoot it every day. Has serious power and range.

Wish the clip held more then 25 bbs

Having a blast with it, shoots great no problems. Buy it, you will love it!
