Out of Stock
The Crosman Fire breakbarrel air rifle is an improved model of the original version because it features an SBD shrouded barrel for quieter shooting. With speeds up to 1200 fps (with alloy pellets) or 1000 fps (with lead pellets), it's a perfect way to get the features you need for easy pesting, plinking, or small game hunting without spending a lot. The largest upgrade included on this air rifle is the new barrel with QuietFire noise dampening technology, so you get backyard friendly sound levels and a shrouded barrel that doesn't require high scope rings. The textured forearm and textured grip on the all weather synthetic thumbhole stock also gives you a firm grasp even your hands aren't dry, and the rubber recoil pad lets you get comfortable and consistent shots. You'll enjoy less noise, more steady and effective operation, and noticeably less recoil with a gas piston instead of a spring piston because the air rifle uses a Nitro Piston powerplant. That also lets you keep the rifle cocked for longer since there's no spring to worry about, it doesn't vibrate as much when shooting, it maintains performance even in cold weather, and it won't gradually lose speed because it doesn't have a spring that will wear out. For additional accuracy, the two stage trigger adjusts so you can get a consistent and crisp break. Plus, the package includes a CenterPoint 4x32mm scope and mount for the 11mm dovetail scope rail on the air rifle, so you have everything you need. If you're looking for a budget friendly breakbarrel air rifle with power and accuracy for plinking, pesting, and small game hunting, get the Crosman Fire now at Airgun Depot.

Highly dependent on pellet quality. I get best results with good German brands, RWS Supermag expecially (5.3 grains). Poor results with Crossman Piranha, every other shot is a flier and the pellets have to be jammed hard to fit the barrel if you can believe that!
This is definitely not a toy. Five stars for overall build quality and very strong quality to price ratio.
Beware if this is your first air rifle, you will quickly find yourself wanting to upgrade when you see how much fun these things are! (I'm about to order a Beeman from Airgundepot!)

Pros
Good weight and feels better constructed than the price indicates. Fairly quiet. The trigger pull is fair at this price point. Nicely balanced. Break barrel cocking feels like decent quality.

Cons
Nothing against the rifle, I need a better scope. After getting it dialed in I feel there's alot of fliers. When dialed in correctly it's amazingly accurate. I've taken squirrel at 30 yards offhand position more than once.

Got this at Dicks sporting goods on sale for 75 bucks. Took about 15 shots to get it relatively dialed in at 30 yrs. shooting 1 inch groups with the scope provided. Compared to my Gamo swarm maxim 2nd generation this gun isn’t bad especially for the money. With a good scope this could be a tack driver. It is a little bit loud but fun does have a break in period of about 100 shots. Only shot about roughly 30 through it. Trigger pull is long but bearable.

Pros
Price, stock doesn’t feel cheap, has a good weight to it.

Cons
Single shot, scope could be better

I bought this for a friend who hasn't shot in years because of arthritis in her hands. We spent a couple hours blasting away at silhouette and reactive targets. and had no difficulties cocking it.

Pros
Cheap and Cheerful. Stock is surprisingly good, and it is smooth and easy to cock. Accurate enough and backyard friendly.

Cons
Oh, Gawd, the trigger. Trigger pull is miles long. Country miles. Forest service miles. The single adjustment screw's sole function is to make it even longer. If Crosman would address this issue, they would have quite a sporty little number.

Get a nice scope that's made for Spring air & nitro piston air rifles, sight it in and get to plinking.

Pros
Very powerful.

Cons
Scope needs to be upgraded, but works to get started on.

How accurate is it?

Does this rifle come with front and rear sights ? Photo shows but Specs don't. Hard to believe you can go plinking with just a scope. TLee
