The Crosman Full Auto R1 in black gives you an additional option in their lineup of full auto BB guns. It features components that are AR compatible, giving you the ability to customize it, and the realistic feel and operation make it perfect for dispatching cans with authority or quick target practice.
Using 2 CO2 cartridges in the 25rd drop free magazine for power and with speeds up to 430 fps at up to a sizzling 1400 rounds a minute, this airgun is engineered for extreme enjoyment. You can switch the pistol grip with your preferred AR compatible grip, and the buttstock gives you a flexible length of pull because it adjusts to 6 different positions.
If you're looking to learn how to safely operate something similar to the AR platform, this is a good place to start because it has a magazine, blowback, and operation that will help familiarize you with the process. If you're used to the real steel version, this is a fun way to practice that's not as noisy, and with ammo that's a lot more affordable.
The rifle includes removable open front and rear sights for the top scope rail, and can be swapped for other scopes, plus lasers, bipods, and other accessories using the quad Picatinny rails on the handguard.
If you want an easy introduction to the AR platform or some can and target destroying fun, get the CO2 BB gun that gives you both with a Crosman Full Auto R1 in black from Airgun Depot.

The owners manual says DO NOT USE SOLID COPPER, COPPER PLATED BB's, you can seriously damage your barrel ! Stick with the solid steel, zinc plated bb's for the best velocity, power & accuracy ! Also, to keep the everything working perfect in both receivers, put a drop of gun oil on the tip of your CO2 cartridge before piercing to keep your seals healthy and strong for more consistent velocities which equals better accuracy ! Add a pistol or rifle laser up front on the rails and your ready to pound nails !
Pros
With the blowback action, you'll swear you were firing 5.56 ! The R-1 has performed perfectly, has not jammed at all, and I'm past the 10,000 rounds fired now. The velocity is consistent, and I was very surprised with 1 inch groups at 35ft, especially with a smoothbore ! Great air rifle, a lot of fun. Gonna buy another one !
Cons
I would not have the 25rd magazine as the default. Destroy all the remaining in stock & stick with the 300 Rd !
Pros
This thing is amazing! The two CO2 cartridges will last a speed loader full. Give and take using full auto. The magazine loads so fast, 4.2 pumps on the speed loader so 25 rounds per mag is plenty! Been through 40 mags, still running strong with proper oiling.
Cons
None!
Becareful using the hand held speed loader. The follower can pop out and load bbs underneath the follower.
Pros
Yup, I agree with all the pros and con that Ive read about this gun. It is super fast. Well built, feels great in my hands. Its pretty accurate for a smooth bore bb gun. I was happy to read from someone that it has a 14mm negative threads for surpressors. Ive seen pics, but I didnt know. A lancher under it would look cool as long as it worked. All&All. its a very fun airgun.
Cons
On full auto, with the factory 25rd mag, youll spend more time reloading than shooting. But its a fun 2seconds.
Pros
AWSOME!!! TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY,GREAT GUN
Cons
Flip up sites are plastic, could use alloy,or aluminum
it is so fun you should buy it
Pros
I like it it is so fun i could use it all day
Cons
I would change how many bbs it holds because it only holds a small amount
Pros
This is a really good gun. I bought for my 12yr old son. He broke the mag right away, the spring popped out. But the replacement mag that we got for it is better and holds more he likes it better.
Cons:
I'd say the only real issue I have is the fact that there's no real extended mag for these guns. The QR mag is a glorified speedloader and not a legitimate extended mag. Airsoft guns have a plethora of extend mag choices that I feel the r1 m/dpms sbr could highly benefit from.
What we need is a proper extended mag, a drum mag or a modified QR mag that actually feeds 300rds over 25rds and a 300rd reservoir. The high rate of fire would benefit from this as you burn through 25rds very quickly even in semi auto.
I will update this review in a couple months.
Pros
I've had this for about a month now and I can honestly say that I have no real issues with it.
It's moderately accurate, no wobbling, hefty, robust, durable and loud enough to be satisfying but not to the extent of freaking your neighbors out.
When shooting strictly in semi auto I've managed to consistently shoot over 210+ rounds per 2 c02 cartridges before needing replaced. Even though the mag states 25rd capacity I've managed to frequently over load it to around 28-30rds with no detriment to the mag or gun itself.
No leaking of the mag has been experienced, no idea why people are complaining about leaking, but loading the c02 cartridges properly is so ridiculously easy that an infant could do it.
A huge selling point for me over thr DPMS SBR is the fact that the R1 is full milspec whereas the DPMS SBR is not. What that meaning thr customization options for the R1 exceed that of the dpms sbr.
All in all I highly recommend this gun for whatever your airgun needs are.
10/10
Cons
Pros:
Accurate
Hefty and robust
Durable
Full milspec
210+ rds per 2 c02 cartridges
Easy to dissemble and maintain

I highly recommend the R1 for anyone who loves to do some planking. This gun is just a blast!
Pros
This is my new R1 full auto assault rifle air gun. With 2 fresh co2's, it will empty a full 25-round mag in less than 3 seconds, shooting the 177.cal bb round at 450 fps! I made the purchase one month ago, and I have really been putting it through its paces, shooting it hard every day with no problems at all. This air gun sells online at Crossman Air Gun Depot at around $170.00 with the standard 25 round mag and im telling you honestly, that it absolutely worth every penny and then some! This gun far exceeded my expectations!
Cons
So far so good! I can't find any cons at all. I just absolutely love this gun! It's worth noting that new buyers should read the instruction manual and follow the instructions to the letter to experience the intended results. Also you should definitely "put a drop or two of your gun oil on the tips of each and every co2 cartridge at the puncture site before tightening them down and puncturing the cartridges to seal the air in, so that you don't have air leaking out around where the cartridges puncture point." Otherwise you may experience air leaking out of the cartridges!
