Crosman PFM16 Full Metal BB Pistol Features
- CO2-powered
- Uses 12-gram CO2 cartridges
- Shoots steel BBs
- Compact design
- 20-shot spring-activated removable BB mag
- Fixed front and rear sights
- Full metal
- Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects
Choose this full metal CO2 BB pistol for loads of shooting fun. The PFM16 features a convenient- compact design and a grip that slides back for was loading of CO2 cartridges. The spring-activated 20 round BB magazine drops out for reloading at the push of a button- so you can get back to shooting faster.
Steel BBs can ricochet. The shooter and everyone in the shooting area should wear safety glasses when a gun is being handled (even if it's unloaded). Remember to remove all pets from the area as rebounding ammo can hit them too. Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects (including metal targets) or water as that increases the chance of ricochet.

Previously had a functional UMAREX STEEL STORM - - the inner spring on the built in mag went haywire and was unusable within 300 shots.
This BB Gun has proved more reliable, while less flashy, more functional. No blowback so you save CO2 on that. 20 round clip on a single fire gun is plenty. You can also buy more Mag's and preload to make things easier - i found a 2 pack for ~$15 somewhere. Co2 lasts for a decent amount of shots. Very hefty being all metal other than the grip that pulls back for you to load the CO2 in. I like that heft. The safety is fine enough to work with a 1 hand grip, IDK what people complain about with that, though I have smaller hands so maybe someone with a bigger hand/less dexterity couldn't pull that flick off as easily I suppose. Overall no complaints other than the sights being black on black but one can easily take some white out of something and put a lil dot where need be on it, though it may ruin the cosmetics a bit.
Pros
Hefty, Accurate, Simple
Cons
Black On Black Sights/ADS
For the price, this is one of the best air guns I have. I also have cold Commander, Colt Defender, Colt Combat, Glock 19, CZ 75 compact, CZ75 D, S&W MP44, Walther P365, Sigs, Steyrs, and many others I can't remember off the top of my head. The PFM is still one of the most accurate.
Pros
Hard hitting, very, very accurate and it holds CO2 for a very long time.
Cons
I would like a better sight picture. I added a 3 dot system myself.
It's very accurate and on point.
Pros
I love how it's metal and how the weight is.
Cons
The only thing I could find was it's difficult for ME to screw in the CO2. I could use pliers.
Pros
Probably better power than 400 ft a second great ,bought 2 only after couple hundred shots one failed on trigger, would fire after you released trigger !!!other would not hold CO2 pressure
Cons
Trigger, seal
It's definitely a good gun to add to anyone's collection.
Thank you A.G. FOR THE VERY FAST DELIVERY !
Pros
I like the mostly metal construction , feels good in my hand
The price point sold me and that it is a crossman product.
Cons
Not a big fan of the safety switch , a bit of a issue , But since I have no children I'll just leave it on the fire setting .
too bad good accurate air pistol fails on seal design
Pros
great power for co2
Cons
poor seal for replacement co2 , after 4 cartridges leaking ended in garbage
Pros
Addendum: I only buy airguns that don't have blowback, so that also attracted me to this one. For me, blowback is a waste of gas and power.
I have three other CO2 pistols, two pellet and one bb. All are great (I'm super picky and research extensively before I buy), but this one is emerging as my favorite. Well-made, solid, powerful, accurate, and simple to use. Not much more you could ask for in a CO2 bb pistol.
Pros
Good power and very accurate. Shoots to point of aim. Metal gives it heft and a nice, solid feel. Drop-free magazine easy to load and fun to use (I bought two extra, which really adds to the fun). Magazine release button quick and easy. Trigger pull is heavy and long, which some shooters might not like, but I actually like it as it's similar to my revolver (actual firearms) triggers and therefore good, inexpensive practice for me.
Cons
Iron sights same color as the rest of the gun, and tough to see for my aging eyes. I will be painting the front sight white. Safety is bit stiff, but still workable. I may just leave it switched to Fire, as the heavy trigger pull is about all the safety you need.
Great first bb pistol for a young person or old person alike. Good heft and feels better than the plastic guns I have. Mags are solid and snap in solidly. Good performance and co2 use. Great for the low price.
Pros
I think this is a value. I bought this with no particular expectation. I have an Umarex XBG, which I’d say is a very similar gun with regard to FPS and accuracy. Even seems to work similarly based on the barrel moving in and out for each shot. This is not a replica - just a simple, plain Jane bb pistol. Shoots hard for the price. Pretty consistent too. Love the magazines and how affordable and accessible they are. It is a great back yard plinker. I think a perfect first pistol.
Cons
The trigger pull is HARD. After the second or third mag my finger sometimes hurts from the pull. Wish it had white dot sights. I’m considering adding some sight paint.

For fifty bucks you get a hunk of metal and plastic that resembles a gun in looks alone. Spend that half a c-note somewhere else.
Pros
Feels like a real firearm.
Cons
Poor accuracy. Awkward placement of co2 screw. Sights need white dots. Stiffest, hardest trigger I have ever felt; my trigger finger is actually sore and tired.
