On they know wind day you may think your missing the 2nd and 3rd ECT.but you may be key holing it?
Pros
Very consistent
Cons
Nothing they're perfect
I’ve shot both the hollow point and these pellets and both do the job. I feel as though the magnum pellet has more of a knock out to it. They seem to work well in my daisy 880 some flyers but that’s air rifles for you. I would recommend both the magnum and the hollow point.
Pros
Accurate and hard hitting
Cons
None
If you have an airgun that shoots too fast try these. You will be impressed by their consistency and accuracy.
Pros
Accuracy
Cons
Softer lead
Pros
These worked the best in my Benjamin. I tried every brand I could find. Like every other gun I do the same thing. Every gun has likes it's own flavor and has it's own personality. The most consistent accuracy and penetration tested on plywood and through aluminum cans filled with water stacked in line. Lighter pellets with higher velocity have less penetration even tested with other air guns. Haven't hunted with them yet but used others in the past for rabbit and squirrel. They work.
These pellets shoot well in my Gauntlet. Very few fliers and they are within an inch of the grouping. Price is good and with the excellent packing by Airgun Depot the tins are not damaged which means the pellets are OK also. There are a few damaged skirts in the tin but easily discarded when loading the mag.
Pros
Good price and heavier pellets at 10.5 grains.
Cons
A few damaged pellets per tin but not unexpected for the price.
Very accurate out of my Gamo Hunter Extreme it will not shoot anything less . This is my go to pellet for all my .177's . Shoots very flat and hits hard . Even my Dasiy 880 likes them .
Use this pellet in my Daisy 880 and a few other guns because of its high BC, gives me the downrange energy that I need.
This is my go to pellet as it is accurate in many of my guns and the price is right !!
If you're on a budget and don't want to spend more money for H&N or JSB then they are OK. They would be great for breaking in your new air rifle. Too many fliers for target shooting or hunting.
Pros
Cheap
Cons
Not very accurate, at least not in my rifles.
I haven't bought Crosman pellets in years but when I did I was very disappointed in the manufacturing process of them. They might have been o.k.for smooth bore air guns but for rifled barrel, it was not the case.
Pros
The pellets are good for smooth bore only in my opinion.
Cons
I have noted that the skirt(back side/opening) is uneven thus making the shots off mark when the pellet comes out of the barrel.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. What country are they made in?
asked brian from USAAll the tin says is "By Crosman" If it was USA they would have proudly slapped it on there so I"d assume over seas or south of the border. But I don't know for sure.
James from USAAre these good in the ruger air magnum?
asked willI will buy a few tin's just to break new guns in and to plink with, how ever when shooting mag air guns 1300 fps and up, look for 10.65 gr to 13.34gr, this will improve performance by slowing your fps down and you will get a better knock down punch. Ps. Where can i get a 11.50gr round nose ? That would be a perfect load for my umarex octane! Hint Hint Jsb.
Apache RainYes, they are good in my Ruger Air Magnum, but all guns like something different sometimes for no reason.....so while they work fine in mine, they might not shoot worth a darn in yours, but I doubt it.
Conor from USA
Pros
Not having used a pellet gun before, I decided to buy these .177 cal pellets with the weight of 10.5 gr. I needed something that would do enough damage without having to waste a second shot. These were exactly that.
Cons
I have no complaints.
