I don’t recommend using these in the .177 Benjamin Trail NP XL 1500 from the experiences I had using them in mine. Skirts got deformed hand loading and too much finger fatigue pen loading. They do ‘drop’ what they hit when their performing to their specs.
Pros
I haven’t seen a squirrel in my backyard for 1 1/2 years and rabbits live in an absolute high alert state within 100 yard radius. Sometimes 2 shots for possums and raccoons @ 25-30 yards. Using a Crosman Shockwave Nitro gas piston .177 break-barrel. Best Crosman pellet I’ve used of theirs in that particular rifle. Destructive!!!
Cons
The size is inconsistent and single pellet loading is a pain when I’m trying to draw a quick bead on some varmit. Although, using a pellet pen to load the pellets makes it easier it’s still a hassle when your trying to lock-in on your shot.
Don’t use these if you can’t push them into the breech with your finger
Pros
Fairly cheap. These fit so tight in my break barrel .177 I thought these wouldn’t even leave the barrel.
Cons
Make the head size smaller.
No hate towards Crosman Premier pellets , just get the domes or hollow points.
Pros
Pros: None
Cons
Cons: Incredibly inaccurate. I bought some in 22 and 17 (from my local Wal-Mart) and neither were getting consistent groupings. The 17's were a little big and I had to force every pellet into the barrel of my AA tk200. I hoped these would perform similar to the CP hollow points and domes but I was very wrong. I would not recommend these pellets unless you are shooting 15 yards or less.
I guess I have extra tough squirrel s I've tried different guns an settled on my pellet rifle these pellet s were the only ones I found would take them down I'm at 170 in my backyard and counting in one yrs time
Pros
Work really well taking down squirrel s that other pellet s just made them shitter and continue what they were doing.
Cons
Sz. Tends to be little inconsistent they still work great just sometimes little bit tight
Wouldn't recommend for some if not all umarex and beeman's airguns..
Pros
Price
Cons
fitting in my beeman quiet tek DC is a bit tight so I have to force it same with my umarex break barrel pistol... Pretty upset
I bought these in .177 cal a month ago and they are great pellets. My main issue with them is that about 40% of my tin will not fit in my Hatsan Airtact...inconstant head size. Again, great pellet, but inconstant sizing. Will not buy again due to this issue.
Pros
Hits hard and does really good damage.
Cons
size is inconsistant
loading these is a pain for the gamo magnum
no dispute on quality, price, or performance; my particular piece doesn't like them
Pros
quality, price!!
Cons
my rifle didn't like 'em!!!
The piranha-like teeth in these pellets are no joke. Especially if you're some punk chipmonk that's lookin' for trouble. They will chew up pests and leave them with wounds they won't recover from. They shoot straight and fast, so you don't want to be a yard pest around my house.
Pros
Great for causing damage on the little targets that you put in the crosshairs.
Cons
This ammo leaves little salvagable meat when harvesting baby field mice. Wrecks the back straps.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.I just bought a legacy 1000 crosman air rifle and these 10.5 gr. 4.5 mm hollow point piranha bullets will I have trouble killing small game like squirrels rabbits possums and coyotes
asked Keith from USAWill it fit Beeman pcp pistol?
asked Alex from USADo these pellets fit the Gamo PT 85 Night hawk
asked alan from USAYes
Mark from USAI bought these yesterday and when I went to load them they are really tight to load....so tight I am concerned with firing them. I use the .177 hollow points and have no issues. These are heavier at 10.5 gr but I didn't think that should be a problem.
asked Markus Greer
Pros
Great pellet
