Got 2 of these for my 11&13 yo sons for Christmas. They have been shooting every day since. They absolutely love them. Great accuracy, rate of fire, battery life and well constructed

Right out of the packaging, the first trait that I noticed was how well this gun is made. It has enough weight to it to make it sturdy and comfortable to use without being heavy or clunky. The solid construction and the ease of use make this a really fantastic gun to have, and as my first purchase into the world of airsoft, I'm enjoying it!

Pros
Sturdy construction and durable materials, easy to use, internally adjustable hop-up, decent battery life, good range and accuracy (with .25 gram BBs.)

Cons
The winding mechanism on the magazine is a little wonky and tricky to get used to, and if you're like me and mess it up right away the gun can frequently jam. But if you read the instructions and do it the right way, it's a breeze!

This gun shoots great, is simple to use, and seems to be fairly accurate. The mag holds a lot of bb's. It would be nice to be able to purchase and extra mag.

Pros
Feels right. Shoots good. Kicks a bit.

Cons
Extra mag?

This gun is my very first airsoft rifle. When it arrived in its pallid brown box i thought nothing special, But then i took it out of its packaging and there it was, the fully metal and rubber goddess of death... The R76 Pulse rifle. This gun is amazing when it comes to diversity, be it CTF or target practice it gets the job done, and then some. I would however recommend buying 2 Tenergy stick batteries and a smart charger, because its always nice to have a backup and a battery that does not take 6 hours to charge. The windable clip does present a challenge while under fire, but it is always reliable that if your gun is dry firing just wind the clip. The amount of Tac Rails are very adaptable and fully removeable. I hope that you will consider this gun as an option when buying airsoft rifles because it is worth it, especially when it is on sale.

Pros
Full and Semi Auto Easy to unjam Easy to load Fast fire rate Durable Has a great weight to it Removable butt stock Detachable Tac rails

Cons
The gun will jam occasionally, but is very easy to fix. (Pull out clip, shake, put back in, and wind.) You can only do full auto for about 5 seconds, then you have to to 5 round bursts for about 20 seconds. Then you can go full. You only should use .2 gram BB's The stock is a hard ABS plastic, and is uncomfortable at times.

This is one of the first guns I picked up years ago and it is still one of my favorites. As my airsoft play became more serious, I was able to drop in a 9.6v battery which made the rate of fire just absurd. Yes, the gears are plastic but are still running strong after four years and a stronger battery. The only problem I've had came from the folding stock which broke on one side, the solid stock was not available when I originally purchased but I'm glad to see Crosman improving on an already solid design. All in all I would recommend this gun to anyone. For the hardcore player, it makes a great secondary gun as it is electric (just drop in a better battery). For the average player, this gun has wiped the floor with every other "starter" gun I've seen.

Pros
hop up only moves when you want it to and is hidden behind a metal slide solid FPS (375) accuracy is great for an automatic mostly metal body and mag gear box stands the test of time (even though it's plastic, it's good plastic ;)

Cons
folding stock is wobbly and fragile (well, mine broke on the third year)

asked zack

Hi. The clip release on my gun is lost. It fell off in the woods when I was running and now I can't keep the clip from falling out. Does anyone know where I can get another one?

asked Wade

what type of connecter does the battery have

asked jayden

what type of charger should I buy I got this from a friend with no charger

asked jayden

A ordinary 12v x 500mA power supply willbe the cheapest and easist charger you can get, just need the right tip. If you want something better capable to make your batteries rest for years, you can try any automated/programmable ni-mh/ni-cd (among other types of batteries) charger, same type used by aeromodelist to charge lipo/pb/ni-ch batteries on model airplanes. China sites has that for around $30,00 (dx, hobbyking, etc.)

Jose from Brazil

Do you give me the gun with pill and charger

asked deniz kartal

Deniz, It should have come with the following: a rechargeable NiMH battery, UL charger, a detachable stock, tri-rail mounting system. Hopefully that answers your question. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team

My crosman pulse r76 can only fire full auto for a few seconds before it starts to get really choppy. I check the mag after this happens and it still has plenty of ammo, is it supposed to do this? my friends ak-47 doesn't, so is my gun broken?

asked Ricky

Does this gun come with a battery and a charger?

asked chandler

Chandler, Yes, both a battery and a charger are included. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team

Scott from USA

The price difference between this and the other Crosman assult rifle has a huge gap, $34. to $92. Why is there such a price differential? Is the $92. one really worth it?

asked Grandma B

The other one will break easier and faster than this one. There are metal and plastic parts on this, compared to mainly plastic. Personally, I'd get this one over the other one.

Conor from USA

Can you take off the attachment rales off the top of the gun?

asked Chris

Yey you can. just remove the top lid (just like for changing batteries) and then use a phillips screwdriver to remove them.

Julius

Oh yeah, and its pretty easy too. I don't have anything for it and it was just getting in my way, so I took it off. But I recomment keeping the pieces, just in case you ever get an acog or rds.

Ricky

Yes, simply open the battery hatch. Inside the cover is where you will find the screws that attach the tactical rail to the gun. Unscrew those and you're set!

mike

Is it 375 fps with .12 gram BB's or .20?

asked will

12 gram BBs.

Sean

375 fps is with .12 gram bb's.

Conor from USA

hey my spring for the magazine release just popped out what spring does this gun have in its magazine release?

asked jon

I am sorry, that question would be better for the manufacturer. we don't work with gun parts unfortunately.

Steve from USA

Where can I get the specified battery if I need to have extras?

asked Walllis

https://www.airgundepot.com/812mibabyin.html That should work, or your local Walmart might have some.

Conor from USA

Can you buy an extra battery?

asked me

Here is the battery you are looking for. https://www.airgundepot.com/812mibabyin.html

Steve from USA

yes i own this gun and i hate hi cap mags. are there mid or low capacity(the ones that dont wind) that will fit in this gun?

asked John

Not for this gun.

Steve from USA

Does crosman sell a mid capacity magazine for this rifle? if not, what type of magazine can i use?

asked timothy

Here are the spare magazines that we carry for this model gun. https://www.airgundepot.com/spare-magazine-crosman-r76.html

Steve from USA

can u use a 9.4v battery in this gun

asked kenny

It can wear gears and even strip them.

Steve from USA

two questions. 1.) can it use a red dot sight 2.) can i use a mag that looks more like an m4 mag, like the one on the aftermath kirenex

asked banana king

This rifle would use that style mag though we do carry spare magazines (they look the same), You would have a bottom, two side, and top weaver rail so you can mount a scope/dot sight and most other accessories the rails.

Steve from USA

What type of magazine does this gun use and where will I be able to purchase it?

asked Miguel from USA

We offer extra magazines for this rifle, you can find it in the search bar by typing "R76 Spare Magazine".

Steve from USA

Does it come with the recommended battery?

asked chris

Yes battery and charger included.

Scott from USA

Is this a good beginner gun?

asked Phil

Oh yes. It is a great price for such a good gun. The semi auto is fantastic, and the full is just as good.

Banana

ben
