The Daisy 408 is a semi-auto CO2 pistol that will give you hours of fun honing your range skills with this satisfying plinker.

With this action ready kit, you'll be ready to hit the range straight out of the box! Each package includes two 8rd mags, 350ct Daisy BBs, 250ct Daisy pointed pellets, yellow shooting glasses, targets and (3) 12-gram CO2 cartridges.

To use your air pistol, simply load up a 12-gram CO2 cartridge and press a switch above the trigger to tilt the barrel down and load up one of the 8rd dual ammo BB/pellet magazines that lock in place magnetically.

The 408's fixed white dot sights and rifled barrel help to keep your shots on target, and the pebble-textured grip ensures proper shot control. In addition to these features, Daisy included a non-standard Weaver/Picatinny rail for mounting a flashlight or laser sight.

If you're looking for a CO2 that can fire whatever .177 ammo you have on hand, as well as fire repeating shots on a practical frame, look no further than the Daisy 408.

This pistol package is $59.99 at Wal-Mart. It is fun to shoot and holds CO2 a long time with no leaking.

Pros
Rifled barrel. The way the CO2 cartridge is locked in. Fiber optic sights.

Cons
None really considering what you pay for the pistol kit.

Great weight and feel. Easy access to all components and this kit has everything you need to unpack it and enjoy. I bought it for the dual ammo options and it feels strong and firm when fired.

Better than expected. I like that it handles both steel BBs and pellets. It does have a rifled barrel and is pretty accurate with the pellets. Not so much with the BBs. The trigger really sucks compared to a true firearm, but I am sure that is part of the safety mechanism. The safety is actually very good as it is on the left side and takes two steps to put in fire mode, but only one to return to safety. This is no toy, but a mid powered, inexpensive way to practice shooting a full size pistol and poke at the odd coyote you just want to scare off. The kit is a good deal as the glasses, pellets and BBs are easily worth the $10. Do yourself a favor and purchase more "clips." Two is OK, but I wish I had more.

Pros
Value, grip ergonomics, power, dual ammo

Cons
Trigger is very long pull with a creepy engagement

And where can i find the clips/magazines for the gun? I'd like to get a couple more shots

asked Mike from Italy

You will have to contact Daisy to check on spare magazines.

Mark from USA

Materials? There is nothing said about that

asked Mike from Italy

The gun is mixed metal and plastic, Mostly plastic.

Mark from USA

Anyone know where I can buy a extra mag for a daisy powerline 408 pellet pistol?

asked Gary Haynes

How many shot's do you get on the co2 tank?

asked Debbie

I get between 80 and 96. I have 23 mags, and can shoot 10 or 12 of them before they drop off. The drop-off is very sudden, so you know when it's time.
