Use only steel BBs in this gun and always wear safety glasses. In fact, everyone in the range area should wear safety glasses. Remember to remove all pets from the shooting area as they may become excited. Plus, steel BBs can ricochet and could bounce back and hit them. Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects (metal plates- falling plates- etc.) or water, as both increase the chances of ricochet. To decrease the chance of ricochet we recommend using Air Venturi Smart Shot BBs (shown below in our recommended items for this gun).

Easy to kill small game
easy weapon to train and practice with
Perfect for garage or basement ranges. Light, handles easily, bargain gun. I put a Tasco 3-7 X 20 scope on the dovetail and it lined up perfectly. The 4 X 15 Daisy scopes also work. I tried a UTG Weaver adapter but decided the smaller scopes made more sense. Daisy products are all good in my experience. I have two Winchester M-14 which are Daisy/Japanese products, a 5101 and 5170 both pistols, and all are fun shooters that have been trouble free. Daisy CO2 works perfectly in all of them.
Pros
Light, accurate for a BB gun, good plastic quality, worth the money.
Cons
None I can see.
This is a nice little co2 rifle, the most quiet co2 gun I have ever shot. Great co2 usage, around 250 shots per 12 gram canister. Good accuracy for a bb gun. Shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger.
Pros
Light weight, lots of shots for co2, and very quiet, sound rating should be a 1 or low 2.
Cons
Trigger a little heavy, like all bb guns.

asked KKYes, if you look on the top of the gun (above the trigger area), you can see it has a little line coming out, the scope can slide right on it, and you can tighten it down.

I got this for when shooting with my kids and nephews. The gun is light and is smaller for younger shooters. Besides that it is semi-auto which everyone loves. Just keep pulling the trigger until you hit what you are aiming at. It is a low velocity gun (350fps claimed) and I believe it. You can see the BBs as they are shot which is great for the new shooter to make their aiming adjustments. The CO2 cartridge seems to last forever too. My guess well over 120 shots. Accuracy is pretty good to at 10 meters and even further as since you can see the BBs you can easily adjust your aim accordingly.
Pros
Small, light, semi-auto, easy on CO2, pretty accurate. Very inexpensive too.
