The Diana Oktoberfest Rifle is the airgun to get if you want to relive the experience of gallery shooting at the amusement park whenever you want. It's designed after Diana's famous gallery guns of the past and gives you speeds up to 400 fps for hour after hour of target shooting and plinking excitement for the young and for the young at heart.
One feature of this airgun you don't often find on BB guns is the tube magazine under the barrel. It holds 100 rounds, and it shows you when you're getting close to the end of your shots because it has three oval slots near the tip. Another feature that comes from the gun's shooting gallery lineage is the top cocking lever. You swivel it from the side to the top, lever it back to cock, then push it back down to the side to make it ready to shoot.
The Diana Oktoberfest Rifle is meant to be used at shorter ranges and gives you additional accuracy with a tapered post front sight and an adjustable rear sight that reflect the carnival gun models it was inspired by. You'll also enjoy the timeless look of the wood stock with the special Oktoberfest Gewehr badging, plus the manual safety that gives you added control, and the rubber buttpad for extra comfort.
If you want an air rifle that will remind you and everyone in your family of shooting at targets to win prizes from the fair, buy the Diana Oktoberfest Rifle at Airgun Depot now.

OK, it's a gallery rifle. It's meant for use at 3-5 yards and it's fantastic for that. But by 20 yards groups expand enough that hitting my 4" hanging steel target becomes hit-or-miss. That said it's great fun, reliable, easy to use and solidly, well made. Since I got it the other week I've put about 600 rounds through it in my backyard, and it's doing wonders for my off-hand shooting. It has limitations, but overall I think it's a bargain for $169.
Pros
Solid, well made and very accurate at short range. Lots if fun and cheap to shoot.
Cons
Accuracy drops off sharply after ten to fifteen yards.
Well made gun
Pros
Use steel bbs only
Dont listen to any review that says use smart shot or gamo ball
I bought 80 bucks worth of both and ea jammed first load
Use steel bbs only like manual says ..i listened to reviews before i read the manual.
Well made gun
Cons
The sights are ok not for old eyes.scope would be better but not for the design of the cocking lever.
To hard to adj
Too small allen
The cocking bar inside is too soft it will bend the first time you load a lead pellet..dont try..had to take gun apart and fix.use steel crossman bbs only
You can buy ammo from Germany, Diana
Pros
Everything about the gun is cool except the 4.4mm BBS
Cons
The only true way to get the most out of the Octoberfest is to use the factory correct BBS ammo .44mm DIANA Octoberfest BB. Very hard to get them I had to order from Germany 2 tin $80 U.S. would be nice if airgun depot stocked the correct ammo for the gun they sell
When loading bb in chamber , rifle NEEDS to be tilted upwards somewhat .Not a toy at 400 fps be careful ! Relatively quiet. 2 year limited warranty , German engineering , for $169. bucks and cheap ammo , this large adult size rifle will give alot of bang for your buck!
Pros
Decent metal + wood fit /finish especially at this price. Neat Mauser 98 bolt action cocks rifle . Much faster follow up shots than standard break barrel air rifle.Well made metal funnel is supplied makes loading 100 bb pellets a breeze. I recommend copper coated 177 bbs.
Cons
Load tube end plastic cap is cheaply made + easily lost initially needs to be lifted carefully off and a little vaseline applied to cap stem then good to go.
Great value for the money. Considering a second purchase- it's that good. NOTE: BARREL COMES FILTHY- CLEAN THOROUGHLY because it's with the effort
Pros
Accurate for a BB gun. Great trigger. Light cocking for 500 +/- fps.
Cons
No place for a scope or red dot.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.do they do it in 177 pellets
asked leslie from United KingdomThe description states the barrel is rifled. Why would you rifle a barrel when the bbs would destroy the rifling?
asked Leonard from USAYou are meant to use lead round ball, which sell on this sight for 4.49 per 250
Michael from USA
This rifle stands alone. There is nothing else like it on the current market that I am aware of. It is a full size bb rifle designed to be shot at 5-8 meters. The action is unlike any other BB gun and the sights are authentically European. . I applaud Diana for releasing it on the American market. It is accurate within its intended range. But most of all it is fun. And fun is the reason most of us started shooting in the first place.
Pros
This is an adult size BB gun that does not require CO2. Unlike the adult size Red Ryder, this rifle is hefty and has a solid weight to it. The rifle is rarity among BB guns, being a wood and steel gun. It appears well made with the cocking lever moving smoothly through its throw and a bb loading every time you cock it. It is well finished and just has a quality feel.
Cons
The sights are authentically German, a v notch rear and barleycorn front. These are not sights most American shooters are accustomed to and require a learning curve. The trigger is smooth, but lawyer heavy. Both of these factors have prevented me from getting the most accuracy from the rifle. Despite my best efforts I still end up with at least one uncalled flyer per 10 round group. I do not have flyers like that when shooting my Daisy 499b, but I am not ready to blame the rifle.
