Could not zero with the iron sights. The scope would not focus and is junk. I like the air rifle with a new scope.
Pros
Great power and accurate.
Cons
The included scope is junk.
I can't imagine a better value for $239.00. Shipping and packaging was excellent. This is a serious rifle, looks, feel, German quality. I'm glad I sent the name brand Chinese gun back and spent a few extra $s on this. Simply no comparison%u2026.
I bought a refurb for a friend that is 65 yo. He acted like a 14 yo! Blew him away and he is a serious high end shotgun, rifle, guy.
Pros
Superb Quality In Every Way!
T06 Trigger AWESOME!
Good Punch with 13.3 RWS Superdomes
Scope Mount
More accurate than me at this point. I'll grow into it ;-)
Cons
The Safety is easy to bump into the fire position
I just purchased this Diana 34P from Airgun Depot. Very fast shipping and arrived in good condition. I am very impressed with the quality and feel of the gun.
I am very impressed with the accuracy right out of the box. Installed the supplied scope and immediately shot dime size groups at 16 yards consistently. I am using cphp from Wally World. I haven't tried anything else yet.
I can't believe it. I also own a Benjamin Titan 177 which I thought was pretty accurate, till I got this Diana. It is not even close. I'm selling the Ben. I would highly recommend this rifle.
I have a new favorite gun.
Pros
Looks. Balance. Accuracy. Great gun
Cons
None
I have been shooting air guns for almost 30 years ...just replaced my old Beeman with this rifle. I am very impressed, shot consistent 1/2 groups at 25 yards right out of the box / rest with open sights / I like the weight and cocks fairly easy , very good craftsmanship, you can't go wrong with RWS. Going to order one in .177 also.
Pros
all around good rifle
Cons
none
Love this rifle. It shoots straight and I like the sights. I will be trying out a 3-12x 44 scope in the near future. This gun is well made and I am very happy with it.
This is a well made rifle that looks like it will last for generations. I have not shot for groups yet but it will slay a soup can from 30 yards open sighted all day long. The 06 trigger is a fantastic two stage trigger. Very similar in feel to Tony Kidd's 10/22 two stage trigger. It is heavy and not a rifle to carry without a sling. One of my dislikes would be the weight, but that is based on perception and use, so I'll leave it off the dislike list.
Pros
Construction
Accuracy
Trigger
Cons
Not ready to shoot because it was dry inside.
For the money it should be setup and lubricated ready to shoot or a recommended way to lubricate for fist use.
I received the rifle within 5 days, packed well and so far performs great. Came with the real nice RWS mount with recoil lugs and actually a pretty good starter scope. Everything went together well and once roughly sighted in shoots great. I really like the cocking force. My older Benjamin pump gun was killing me and took to much time when I needed to get the game. Nice finish, better blueing and trigger pull than expected and just well worth what I paid for it. Other than pellets and patience, everything is in the box. I am looking forward to plinking and varmint hunting with it.
Pros
Easy to cock, nice scope mount, and fiber optic sights if I decide to do away with the scope. Shoots everything I have put through very well. A bit louder than expected but still usable in my suburban setting. Nice synthetic stock and good balance. Just everything I expected from RWS.
Cons
I wish it had provisions for a sling, its a bit heavy to carry free hand through the woods without one.
Airgun Depot service and delivery was good. The RWS 34P is well built German hardware, not cheap Chinese crap. The trigger is excellent. I was able to sight in the scope after about 25 shots. I can group 3 shots the size of a half dollar at 50 yards. The gun is heavy and takes some getting use to. The gun gets quieter as you shoot it more. Trust me, when I say "This is not a toy gun." It has surprising power. I have already killed my limit on tree rats.

Cons
Weight of the gun.
Great air rifle for the money. I like the heavier weight because it feels a bit more like my other centerfire hunting rifles. The build quality is great. Very easy to sight in both with iron sights and the included scope. I just wished the scope had an open riser scope mount so the iron sight can still be used for the closer shots. Overall, it's a great air rifle. Can't go wrong with an RWS.
Pros
Heavy weight
Build quality
Included mount and scope
Accuracy
Cons
Not so much dislike, but wish it had an open riser mount so the iron sight can still be used.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. How does it do with small game
asked RickI have harvested many squirrels and 6 -8 rabbits. All one shot. I have never tried anything larger and probably never will. But I am confident that a raccoon sized animal would be a clean kill from 20yds or less with a well placed head shot.
Brian from USAMine is .22 caliber and I have made one shot kills of squirrels, woodchuck, and racoon.
George from USAMy nieghbor slays may rabbit & squirrels with his....si I just ordered one today
NickWhat is the weight of this rifle?
asked Jan from USAWhat kind of pellets do these like? CHP? or H&N Field Target Trophy Round Nose 14.66 Grains 5.53?
asked BillyI have only used chp. They shoot very well, I cannot comment on the others, as I have never used them. Steve
Steve from USAThe RWS superdome pellets seem to be the best.
JimWill you be able to kill a rabbit at 100 yards?
asked rubenProbably not. I've fired .177 cal. lead pellets into a 1/4 inch plywood sheet at 10 yards and only pierced the sheet 50% of the time. I wouldn't trust this air rifle to provide a kill shot at 100 yards. It will be good for rats, mice, squirrels and crows up to approximately 25 yards.
Chester from USAI purchased the RWS 34P .22 caliber with scope. Have not received yet. Any good advice in regards to type or bran of pellets. I have already purchased some benjamin pellets made in USA rather than China. Any other advice I would appreciate. thanks,' Larry
asked LarryI have only shot the Crosman premier hollow point. I am very pleased with them. Their May be better available, but these work very well for hunting as well as target shooting
Steve from USADoes this rifle have the hooded front sight and the raised cheek on both sides of the stock or is it an older version?
asked Steve from USAYes it does.
Steve from USAYes it does and I'm fully satisfied. Far more accurate than my benjamin titan. I highly recommend.
Steve from USAThis rifle does have the hooded front sight and the raised cheek on both sides of the stock.
Leonard from USAis this single-shot?
asked joeYes , the Rws 34p is a single shot rifle. When cocking the rifle with the break action barrel the breech is exposed to lnsert a single pellet. The hinged barrel is then returned to the firing position. Its an easy process and with practice the rifle can be cocked and loaded fairly rapidly. The model 34p is a great gun and is very accurate. Its hard to beat this rifle for the price.
Leonard from USAWhat trigger does it have?
asked teresaThis has the T06 trigger.
Dylan from USAWhen will this be back in stock?
asked Dillon DeshotelDillon, Unfortunately we do not yet have an ETA on when this particular item will become available again. We apologize for the inconvenience. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team

Scott from USAIs the scope and mount as pictured (ie - 1 piece mount and 4x32 "AO"?
asked Dave MirandaYes, it is a 4x32 mil-dot ao scope with a mount.
Conor from USADoes this rifle have the t06 trigger?
asked jack from USAYes.
Dylan from USAWhat is the scope like on this gun? I can't see the model info on it to check what it is like. Does it have mil dots? Also, what cleaning kit would suit this rifle? Thanks Dave
asked David from USAIt comes with a RWS300 4x32AO scope. It does not have mil dots, but is bright and clear. Any .22 caliber cleaning kit would do with this rifle.
Dylan from USAIs this rifle accurate enough to hit a small target such as sparrows at 30 yards? Thank you
asked RoyThe gun is accurate enough to hit sparrows at 30 yards and easily powerful enough to kill them.
Scott from USAThe gun is accurate enough to hit sparrows at 30 yards and easily powerful enough to kill them.
Scott from USAwhat scope comes with this gun? what are the specs of the scope?
asked JoshIt comes with a RWS 4x32 scope.
Steve from USAWhat bullet does it used..Can it used LEAD PELLETS
asked RustyIt can use any type of .22 cal pellets, so yes lead pellets will do fine.
Steve from USAHas anyone compared this with the Ruger Blackhawk? I've seen both these guns at different times and aside from small cosmetic changes and the trigger, I think they're the same gun. And yes I did see the made in germany stamp, but I'm not biting... Can someone who knows for sure tell me what the story is? It makes me wonder if china has a city or mfg plant named "Germany" so they can get away with saying that. Thanx
asked ROBERT from USABoth rifles are made by Umarex so they very well could be the same design. Its like the ford taurus and mercury sable are the same design car.
Steve from USA
Great rifle, mount and scope combo. Love the trigger. Got this in .22 for hunting and pest elimination, very pleased.
Pros
Amazing accuracy. Shoots 3/8 inch groups at 25 yards off a bench rest (but only with RWS Superdomes).
Cons
Hold sensitive and pellet picky. 1000 round break-in period. Harsh firing cycle and rough on scopes.
