Pros
When it works it's fine
Cons
Evey time I use full auto it freezes up and want fire anymore and eventually send it to be repaired! Now I can't find anyone to fix it! Been sitting on shelf for 3 years now..ugh!!!!
DO NOT BUY
Pros
When it works it’s fun
Cons
Evry time I want to use it it is ether out of co2 or the battery’s are dead
Good product good people
Works great. Is allot of fun to shoot. I am a big hit with the grandkids. Only regret is I should bought 2. Easy to operate and shoot!
Pros
Light weight , easy to shoot easy to load, great design.
Cons
Should of bought a second one
We rigged ours with a remote coil and 68CI HPA tank in a belt pack, laser on the picatinny and rechargable LiFePO4 batteries.
Works OK for suppressing rodents up to about 30 feet.
Reloads are MUCH easier if the hopper is only fillled half way.
Hopper slide door can easily open and spill BBs accidentally
Batteries only last for about 200 - 300 shots per charge; so glad we're not buying new batteries everytime.
Right in the middle between a toy and a real air rifle; but still kinda fun
This was the 4th bb gun I have purchased. This was the one that turned out to be just what I was looking for. Important to keep charged batteries in it. I added open sight with target (cross hair) display. That made for quick target acquisition.
Pros
Works as advertised.
Cons
none
This think is a blast to shoot. The auto fire modes are great, and the limit to 2, 4 or 8 rounds is more sparing on the Co2. I have other full auto guns, and I usually shoot in limited bursts anyway. The need for batteries is a bit of a drag, but not a big deal. Pretty darn accurate too.
Pros
FULL AUTO!!! large bb capacity. Accuracy.
Cons
A lot of plastic. Batteries.
The Umarex EBOS is more accurate than I expected it to be, even with the crude sights. It is LOUD, though. One would think that Umarex would include a compensator/suppressor with this gun to make it quieter, but they don't. The only EBOS compatible compensator I found at Airgun Depot costs $37.99, which is way more than I want to spend. The little sliding door on the BB reservoir is loose and will come open and dump your BBs if you aren't careful. It's a shame to have to secure it with a piece of tape. It can also be a bit of a chore to shake the BBs from the reservoir into the loading tube. To make up for the crude sights, I tried a Hawke Red Dot sight but couldn't get enough elevation adjustment (returning the sight). An airgun in this price range should have better sights. Another issue is really a design flaw. The BB reservoir sticks up high enough that you need to be careful when ordering an optical sight to insure there is enough clearance for the sight to work.
Pros
Accurate
Powerful for a CO2 BB gun
Controls easy to use
Cons
LOUD
Crude sights (if you want to use the EBOS for pest control you will need an optical sight)
Loose cover on BB reservoir comes open too easily
BB reservoir has a high profile and can block some optical sights
a lot of fun. A lot easier to load than the steel storm. The 88g co2 last a decent amount of time but are expensive. everyone likes auto fire mode.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.the CO2 cartridge leaks out once it is screwed into the Gun. Seem that there is an internal leak. Any thoughts?
asked John from USAIf you leave the co2 connected for a long period of time it will swell the seals and O rings causing a leak. Get yourself an inline co2 / hpa on/off adapter and you will be able to shut off the flow of co2 when not in use. BTW you will also need a co2 to paintball adapter.
Roberttry putting lube on the seal before install this will stio the leaking , if it is leaking in side send it back it means it has bad seals thanks .
chadMine did the same thing, at first it wasnt very loud but it got worse, not long after it started doing it the electronics shorted out, I'm thinking the leaking co2 got cold and condensed on the electrical board and the whole gun went dead. Now it's in a garbage dump somewhere. I really liked it until it died, I'm thinking of getting another one.
William D from USATake a look at the pin and "O" Ring where the CO2 cartridge is installed. If there is a GREEN O-ring set in the seat that seals the CO2 cartridge it may be compressed to the point where it's too thin to seal the cartridge. I believe it's a plastic O-Ring that can lose it's elasticity and doesn't rebound to it's original shape. In other words, the O-ring has lost some "FAT" and flattened out. My personal experience is with a Umarex Morph, the 3 piece gun that is a pistol and "morphs" into a carbine with a barrel extention . It a good gun until I made the mistake of leaving a CO2 cartridge installed in the gun for a few months. As soon as I inserted a fresh cartridge the gas would leak out of the cartridge. After wasting 5 cartridges I called the vendor and found out that Umarex doesn't repair this gun. They have NO parts to even send to a customer so they can attempt to repair it. Fortunately, even after a year of using the gun the vendor volunteered to send me a brand new unit. They didn't even want the old unit back to look at. THAT'S GREAT Cust. Service. BTW, I spoke to Umarex U.S.A . They are located in one of the Southeastern states, maybe Alabama. Aftr hearing my story they boldly told me that they can't help me at all. So I asked if they considered the gun to be a throwaway They had NO response, TERRIBLE Cust. Service.
Stephen KenyonAdd some oil to the cartridge before putting it in this helps keep the seal
RabbitSeems like a manufacturer's defect. I had my EBOS for about a year now without any leanks.
Zane from South AfricaI've had no problem with CO2 cartridges sealing properly in my Ebos. I use Pellgun oil on the tip of each new cartridge and I check periodically to make sure the cartridge hasn't worked itself loose because of the vibration. If you're not using Pellgun oil, try it and your problem will likely be solved. Good luck!
HB from USAI have had this gun for almost 6 months and no problems whatsoever ...awesome rifle! you must have got a faulty gun
Brian from USAIs your Umarex EBOS Brand New?!....If it is, I would contact the MFGr, but It seems that mine did the Same exact thing, and I Have Owned (2) Of these...Mine are just sitting there in a box right now, and Would like to have mine repaired Too..Probably some kind of inner check-valve...
Richard from USAI use the red oil to the tank and body connection
PaulWill laser sight fit if so which ones
asked QuentinI purchased - NC Star Red Dot 4, D4RGB, Reticles Red & Green Illumination. I am very pleased with the sight.
CarlAny Of the Laser Sights on the Market, with a Picatinny/Weaver rail Mount Should Work, as This BB Pistol has A Weaver Mount right on Top, and One on the Lower front part, which the Forward Grip is Already Attached To...

Scott from USAis this shipable to another country? like netherlands?

Please check with your local customs agency for inquires on requirements to purchase. You may order from our website, which will calculate shipping as well as inform you of any possible restriction issues. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Scott from USAIs the barrel rifled or smooth bore?
asked Eric from USASmooth it's bb so would destroy a rifled barrel but still extremely accurate
dennis from USASmooth
Frank from USAcan you put the blackbird mod chip in this gun
asked jakeNo, the Blackbird chip is desidned specifically for the Drozd.
JimC Innovations from USACan we adjust the velocity of this gun under 500 because it's not legal in Canada
asked AnthonySure...try shooting paper spit wads out of this and I'm sure that'll take the speed down a tad!!!
Steve LewisI have not found a way to lower the fps but I believe it to be lower than 500 anyways.
derrick from USADoes this BB Rifle come with Full auto? and can you ship to New Zealand , How much for rifle and shipping? do you have in stock? thanks
asked Tony HartleyTony, Please contact our International Shipping Department at [email protected]. They can answer any questions you might have. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USAgood morning, My name is Dan Bell. I own AMERICAN SHOOTING SYSTEMS.com.... we specifically target air rifles for our target systems. Would you think this is a good gun for our targets? I think fantastic, but is 540 fps enough uummph to get good can response?
asked americanshootingsystems.com540 fps is good for shooting cans but only until the co2 container gets cold or starts to get low. This gun has a high rate of fire and tends to freeze quick. So to answer your question yes it is enough uummph for the first 125-150 rounds.
derrick from USAhow is this rifle
asked alvin lewisThis rifle works fine. There are no leaks or other problems. Very good rifle for this price. I will recommend it for everyone who is going to get bb rifle.
Reino from FinlandHello, I want buy this gun I'm new in guns . I want to know where I can buy co2 ammo and bullets of this gun ammo , but I need the best and stronger ammo , I will be happy to link, thanks
asked MichaelMichael, We sell the CO2 and BB's here at Airgundepot.com. There is really no difference between the Co2 cartridges and brands. however when it comes to the BB's make sure you get the zinc or gold coated. They will be stronger then the copper. Hopefully this helps answer your question. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USAIs it loud
asked JosephNot at all. For a gun with this power it is surprisingly quiet. It can be made even quieter by installing a compensator which is available at the Airgun Depot. By adding tape to cover the holes on the compensator, it becomes as quiet as gun with a silencer.
Charles from USAWill a scope or red dot sight attach to this? If so which one?
asked wayneYes it has the standard Picatinny rail , so most dot scopes will work, and you need one because the factor sights are total garbage. They do have to have enough elevation to get over the front BB storage area. I'm using a Leapers Red/Green dot. It requires no additional height.
William Hughescan you shoot this gun with out the co2 tank
asked joeJoe, Unfortunately, this particular gun only works with Co2. It uses a 88g CO2 tank. Hopefully that answers your question. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USAHi, how long does the batteries and gas last for? Also how many shots do you get out of the co2? Does it come with co2 and BB bullets?
asked JacobI have run about 10,000 rounds through the gun and the 6 Duracell AA batteries show no sign of weakening. I get about 350 shots per 88 gram CO2 cartridge on single shot. Probably a lot less on the burst settings. It does not come with CO2 or BB's. Hope this helps!
christopher from USAStupid question, I know probably not, but to double check could you use this for air-soft matches? and can you use plastic BB's in it?
asked Jordan from USAJordan, No, this bb gun fires steel bbs only and could seriously injure another person. This particular bb gun is not an airsoft rifle and, therefore, cannot fire plastic bbs. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USAIs the exterior of this rifle metal?
asked janegood afternoon friend I wonder if you send to Brazil? and what value? thank you
asked LucasTry checking out at the sight and if there is a restriction you will get a warning before you purchase the product. There are a lot of different regulations for all different countries and they are always changing, so we have set up an automatic warring if there is a product, based on your location, that is forbidden. Shipping price always changes, but you should be able to see the final price before you complete your purchase.
Scott from USAHello where do I purchase the barrel suppressor that's in the video, or does the gun come with it/ thanks in advance
asked mitchellLook on Umarex's site or pyramydair's accessories page, they have them there
Jake from USAdo i need a liscense for this gun and can it drop crows and coons from a little bit of a distance
asked ihatecrowsOrders placed from the following areas will be refused due to the laws, restrictions and conditions of sale in your state or city: New York City and its boroughs, (ZIP Codes 100xx-104xx, 111xx, 112xx-114xx & 116xx), New Jersey (FFL required), Chicago, Michigan and Philadelphia PA and Washington, D.C. We cannot ship Co2 to Alaska, Hawaii Puerto Rico or any foreign country. Some restrictions may apply on sling shots and blank guns in some cities. It is your responsibility to know the laws in your area.
Scott from USAI noticed they said the front sight was adjustable, but it is not. What is a weaver mount and an optic compatible tactical rail?
asked CRYSTALA weaver mount is used primarily on military and tactical weaponry in order to quickly and securely attach scopes, lasers, ANPQ and so forth. An optic compatible tactical rail is exactly what it sounds like, a Mounted railing on the top of the upper receiver (flat top of the gun) that makes it possible for scopes, Red dots, ACOG sights ect to be mounted.
Jake from USAWhere do you find the chamber lube for Co2? Also is there a laser sight with red dot that can be added?
asked CRYSTALdo you ship to uk ?
asked steven norburyTry checking out at the sight and if there is a restriction you will get a warning before you purchase the product. Scott from USASeeing as how the velocity sits at 540, do you need a PAL gun licence to own this gun?
asked seanIt depends on your local laws. In Michigan, its a toy untill 700fps
Rick H.Yes you do. Also it very closely resembles a real fully automatic firearm, so once you obtain a PAL, keep it in a case until your ready to shoot it safely and within regulations.

Scott from USACan it kill a duck from 66 feet?
asked big johnIm sure your kidding bud. Because it would be illegal to shoot a duck with a rifle of any kind. And any offense involving a migratory game bird ie ducks, geese is a federal offense
WilliamNo. Assuming your in season, I would honestly suggest skipping airguns entirely and using an actual Shotgun. Only high powered PCP's and break barrels posess the necessary power to kill a duck, and trying to hit a moving target in the air with a 17 -22 cal pellet (taking into account windbags and range constantly is changing for a midair target) is almost impossible. I have nothing but respect for airguns and they are very useful for many hunting scenarios, but at this point in time you are best to go with a hunting shotgun.
Jake from USADoes it jam or have any problems like that?
asked solomonAs with any Automatic firearm, there is definitely the potential for a jam, but seeing as it uses roundball ammo, it's not likely.
Jake from USAhello do you ship in france and for how mutch. thank you.
asked vincentVincent, Yes, we do ship to France if the right permits are obtained. The cost of shipping depends on what is being shipped. You can calculate it on our website. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Steve from USACan compressed air be used with the EBOS instead of co2 if using the adapter? I am thinking about purchasing one and it would be great if I could just run a remote line with my 65 ci tank.
asked Daniel from USAThe answer to your question is YES, not some opinion of whats best in others eyes. If you find the working pressure and adjust the output of your hpa tank accordingly. HPA can work on ANY co2 gun provided you make or obtain all proper connections and adjust pressure to the running pressure of the marker/gun. It may not be best or most economical but it can work.
jeremyIt's best to simply use the co2 cartridges. Using a tank is overkill for a BB gun.
Jake from USAWhere would you buy the adapter that people are referring to? If its possible, I would like to upgrade to a 12 ounce paint ball co2 canister as well. If you have any info regarding to this mod please put it in your answer.
asked Tylercan a 90 gram cartridge be used in this rifle
asked jimthis cartridge uses 88 gram CO2 canisters.
Steve from USAcan you put sights on this
asked demetriosYou can put different types of scopes and lasres on this gun but not iron sights.
Scott from USAHi, wonder if this gun is able to mount a scope on to it ?
asked kenneththis gun can have optics mounted to it. It would be more for looks than function though. The range on this gun would not require a scope.
Scott from USAis there a seal between co2 tank and gun that can be replaced ? screwed tank to gun and it leaks past seal
asked ralph nobleoften the seal needs to be lubed, Use pelgun oil on the end of your Co2 tank should solve the problem.
Steve from USAWould this Umarex 540fps kill small game like Rats
asked AllanThis gun will kill small mammals.
Steve from USACan a scope be mounted on the EBOS? If so, any reccomendations?
asked RussYes, you would need something to clear the hopper on the front of the gun. High profile rings should do the trick.
Steve from USACan it be exported to India.
asked AshishThank you for you interest. For questions about international ordering/shipping please email us at [email protected]. This so we can better help you.
Steve from USAI purchased a Umarex EBOS BB rifle, and would like to know maximum operating pressure. I'm looking into purchasing an adapter and 12oz Co2 paintball tank, but not sure of operating pressure. Any info would be appreciated.
asked RayNot sure of the operating pressure however I would highly recomend the adapter and Co2 tank. The normal tanks we went through in about 10min. Gun is a great toy and It's alot of fun but the disposable tanks go to fast. Upgrade to the paintball tank if you plan on purchasing it!
michelle from USAi had a similar idea that way i dont need to put the stock handle on but opted out on getting the 90 gram co2 tank..there cheap and it fits nicely in the stock...wallmart has em for about 12 bucks for 2...hope that helps you
oleg from USAI do not use Co2 I only use green gas or propane which have the advantage of not freezing up so much when you shoot at a high rpm .
Roberto from USADo you need to purchase the adaptor? What is it for?
asked Sheri DobackThe bulk fill adapter is so you can use bigger refillable Co2 canisters. This is not a necessary attachment as you can use 88 gram tanks.
Steve from USACan a 90gram CO2 cylinder be used in the Umarex EBOS or does it have to be 88? A 90 will fit, but the gun make electronic noise only - without firing a shot.
asked jakeDon't know about the 90g.....just use the 88g.
ConorThe external sizes of 88g and 90g CO2 cartridges are almost identical. The thread size is the same. The length of the dog point is the same. If everything is in working condition, there is no reason a 90g will not work in your Umarex EBOS. Trouble Shooting: I would check that your batteries are fresh. Then, if it still isn't firing, I would check if the cartridge was punctured. After that, I would check if your puncture pin is damaged or blocked. Checking your warranty would be the next step. Personally, I only use 90g CO2 cartridges now. I really like using JT 90 Gram Prefilled CO2 Tank, because they are very economical compared to 88g Crossman AirSource by 40% and 88g Walther by more than 50%. As far as getting more bang out of a 90g vs. 88g I would venture that you get a whole clip load more, but I haven't tested this. Feels exactly the same in every aspect except my wallet.
April Sebastian
When I bought this gun it was on sale for $99. With the fps & all the features I knew it was a steal. What really blew it out of the water was it's nice weight & the option to put a refillable Co2 tank off a paintball gun, saving you BIG $ & giving you an average of 1200 between refills using a standard 20 oz. tank. 5 stars easy. BUY IT!
