It's accurate but no tach driver.
It has a polished curved loading area that aligns pellet right up to the bore. Very Nice.
The underlever cocks quickly not needing a long stroke. It does make it stiffer but not a problem to dull enjoyment.
I chose to shoot it a lot because the enjoyment of the better accuracy makes up for it having less power than some of my other guns. Making this a good value for $199.
I love this gun. At first it is difficult to load.
After 10 shot I got the hag of it.
Great gun, Very accurate.
Pros
Very Accurate.
Cons
Nothing
Very nice airgun thinking about getting another one soon.
Mine was packed with excessive grease and looked like a mini muzzle loader with each shot. I put over 50 shots through it and it just kept getting worse, and black grease started oozing out around the rotary breech. AirgunDepot offered to replace it free of charge, but I've read several other reviews about excessive grease and figured I'd just wind up with the same thing on the replacement rifle so I decided to clean it up and relube it correctly. The breech seal and piston seal were damaged from the dieseling so I ordered a replacement piston seal from ARH. I tried to get a breech seal from Gamo but they won't even sell one to a customer without it being delivered to a FFL.
Now with a new seal and the correct amount of lube the dieseling is gone and it shoots fine. I only have 100 pellets through it, but the power seems on the low side. I tried several brands and weights and it's putting out 12.2 to 12.4 ft lbs. Hopefully that comes up as the rifle breaks in.
On the positive side, the rifle is lightweight, easy to cock, and extremely accurate. The trigger pull is light, and by installing a longer trigger adjustment screw, creep can be greatly reduced.
Pros
Very Accurate.
Light weight.
Easy to cock.
Rotary breech easy to load.
Not hold sensitive.
Trigger is light and can be easily tuned.
Airgun Depot willing to exchange defective rifle.
Cons
Poorly assembled by the factory.
Additional time and money required to get a good one.
Gamo support responded poorly to my concerns and refused to sell me a breech seal without going through a FFL.
Low power.
Trigger adjustment screw too short. Longer screw required for adequate adjustment.
I really like the undercover cooking of this air rifle. Loading is a little difficult With the use of a pellet pen and seater it is not too bad.
Pros
Undercover makes cooking easy. Fixed barrel should increase accuracy. I am presently breaking in the rifle.
Cons
Loading is a little difficult. I recommend a pellet pen and seater.
Right out of the box this air rifle is putting 0.22 Field Trophy Target pellets in a dime from 10 yards. The included scope works well. The rifle was a bit loud with a springy twang at first, but after several dozen shots it's quieting down.
Pros
Accuracy
The scope that comes with this rifle is actually pretty good. Mine is the .177 since the .22 is back ordered. I zeroed mine at 22 yards at 4x magnification. Most shots I take are at 18 - 35 yards. When I zeroed my scope I was hitting a dime size area 10 out of 10 shots. I use mine to shoot iguanas here in south Florida. The .177 has no trouble penetrating even the 4 footers! If for some reason I had to replace my pellet gun I would buy this one again. I got the 10 for $10 service. Mine averaged about 870 FPS. The picture is at a range of 22 yards;
Pros
Accuracy! Easy to cock and load.
Cons
The iron sights on mine are a little skewed to one side. I use the scope so it is a non-issue for me.
