Have the .22 version and found it to be acceptable for all around use. Trigger is light and easy to predict let-off. Barrel is shrouded and that keeps it protected from marring and wear. Cocking effort is about thirty-five pounds, tight at the end of the stroke. First three dozen shots produced heavy dieseling even after initial cleaning. Fitted a home made suppressor on it to control the diesel vaporing, which was unlike any other I've encountered; just a really obnoxious odor!
Put a Stoeger 3x9x40 scope on it and it showed to be accurate at about seventy feet and always in or on the bulls-eye. Gun is louder than most of my other air rifles (spring noise mostly), but seems to be quieting down after a hundred and fifty plus shots. Lubed and tightened everything (torx screws); filled stock butt with dense foam (helped bring down the noise level) and it's working out to be a favorite shooter for me.
Pros
Good looking; shoulders easily; good weight and balance. Accurate enough for most applications; well constructed; no rattles; good build with the synthetic stock. Overall, for the price, it's one of the nicer knock-around shooters I have.
Cons
Heavy dieseling at first causing bad vapor odor.
great gun and easy to work with. the scope is a little finicky after its zeroed in. It does exactly what its name says. Thats usually when the squirrel is within 60 feet. when its over about 60 feet, it definitely knocks the squirrel over but doesnt terminate it. Either way most shots that Ive been making are around 60 feet and its a good rifle.

asked DougI have the .22 cal and haven't shot it 50 yards. I will say that at 25 yards I get quarter size groups with cheap crossman hp

I have had this since i was 10 ( i am 14 now) never gave it much thought until about a 2 weeks ago. I should have taken a much bigger interest sooner takes down rabbits, birds, and anything smaller. one of the best pellet guns i own. 10 stars
