Stutzen by Gamo is a very accurate air rifle with a Fixed Barrel 1-piece Stock and hidden underlever cocking lever. The look, quality and feel of a classic European hunting carbine is what the Gamo Stutzen Air Rifle is all about. The Stutzen is easy to carry in the field and made for added enjoyment when hunting because its compact underlever spring piston design means easier cocking effort and shorter overall length. Has a one-piece wooden Manlicher stock that has a hidden cocking lever. All you have to do is cock it once and you're in business. When rifle is cocked, the loading port automaticlly raises behind the rear sight. Just put a pellet in and push the port down. The cocking lever is hidden between the sculptured sides of the stock when not in use. Micrometric rear sight with a 4 position interchangable windage plate and rifled steel barrel with rail for mounting a scope. Hand finished hardwood stock has cheekpiece and checkering on the grip, plus ventilated rubber butt pad. Break Barrel One Cock Spring.

This gun was discontiued by Gamo and was a hard to find item. I wanted a Stuzen to add to my collection. I purchased this gun thinking I would have it tuned and refinish the stock. The gun looks good and shoots fine as is. Trigger is a little ruff but it does shoot hard. It it lighter than most springers and nice to carry. The loading port takes a little time to get use to and is plastic. Would like to have seen it in metal. For now the gun will stay the way it is and I give it a solid three stars overall.

MY QUESTION IS ,,,CAN YOU BUY A NEW ONE RATHER THAN USED AND REFURBISHED.I LIVE IN THE PHILIPPINES AND WOULD HATE TO SHIP A USED AIRGUN,BUT IM NOT SURE ABOOUT REFURBISHED.WHAT ALL IS DONE WHEN THIS IS THE CASE? IS THE GUN LIKE NEW INSIDE AND OUT?

asked ED ORAN

Ed, To answer your question about shipping Please contact our International Shipping Department at [email protected]. They can answer any questions you might have. As for refurbished items- these items are sent back to the manufacturer for some reason- whether it is a scratch on the stock or muzzle, to actually issues with the air springs/pistons to just the customer not wanting the item any more. When at the manufacturers the guns are inspected and any parts not working are fixed. They are then put back into stock and ready for sale at a discount rate. Some refurbished items are just as good as new. See some reviews on refurbished items. Hopefully this answers your question. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
