Gamo intended the Mach 1 rifle to be the standard for stealthy hunting and accurate shot placement, the Gamo Whisper Fusion Mach 1 air rifle is a leader in quiet shooting. Outfitted with a 3-9x40 scope, it's a hunter's dream when it comes to quiet, precise shooting. The Whisper Fusion Mach 1 air rifle combines some of the most advanced technologies Gamo has to offer. Whisper Fusion double-integrated noise dampener reduces report by 89.5%, and the IGT Mach 1 power plant delivers more velocity and terminal strength. The Gamo Whisper Fusion Mach 1 features the Whisper Fusion sound moderator, which allows pellets to travel through two different chambers that combine to compress and prevent noise expansion, resulting in the quietest Gamo power plant available. With all of the technologies that Gamo utilizes during the manufacturing process, this is one of their most effective break barrel rifles to date, which makes it perfect for pest control to target shooting and everything in between.

5 stars if not for the silencer issue- no issue with trigger or anything else

Pros
i like the gun it's very accurate and i have no issues really with it

Cons
the things i would change is the silencer- that poor part of the rifle i bought in last year .177 .22 and both had silencer issues- removing both pins at nozzle and removing had glue both parts together- i use pc 7 epoxy- i dont like the dove tail so added Pict nary rail-and best scope found work with it after many cheap relative expensive is the vector optics paragon 3-15-50 scope-400.00 scope but well worth it for high powered pellet guns- i can hit head of pencil 15 yrds- but think the gamo should give a xtra silencer - and or make that part easily available-also find the premier pirahna 14.3 grain 400 count pellets work best use same on the .177- i do like the gun better than the wood stock Benjamin .177- though that gun is dead on too-

Air gun depot's service was great. Yesika was my agent, and she did a great job at getting my gun to me in a timely manner. She was polite, professional, and knowledgeable.

Pros
The scope was easy to attach, and pretty accurate right out of the box with no adjustment. Minor adjustment put it right on. The rifle shoots great. Can't wait to see how it does with small game with alloy pellets.

Cons
I can't think of anything to change.

Overall great shooting rifle with nice power. Highly accurate with stock scope after only a few adjustments. This review is of the first 100 or so pellets fired after I unboxed the brand new rifle.

Pros
I would give this rifle 5 stars if not for the "Con" listed below. So, overall, I love this rifle. I was open to the idea of replacing the stock scope with something nicer if I could not get desired results. I mounted the stock scope and was shooting sub MOA groups at 25-30 yards. I was literally key holing pellets with the stock scope after shooting 10 pellets and making the required dope adjustments. I shot two different kinds of pellets-JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo .22 Cal, 15.89 gr - and some lighter grain Gamo pellets. I had good results with each of these pellets but the rifle was slightly more accurate with the Diablo Exact Jumbo 15.89 grain. Lots of thump and good accuracy with a dialed in scope. I will report back after I put more pellets through it. Overall, I recommend this rifle for fun plinking and varmint elimination.

Cons
I was initially excited about the fiber-optic sights and even considered not mounting a scope due to the sights. Well, for me and my rifle, that was a hard NO-GO. The groups were consistently good but way off and with only the rear sight being adjustable, I was using the force to hit targets without a scope mounted. I was disappointed with the accuracy/adjustability of the sights and this is why I docked it one star. Otherwise, this is a 5 star rifle in my opinion, thus far.

Straight out of the box I put 10 cheap rounds through it and immediately shot a 1/2 inch group at 40yds

Pros
Accurate as you are

Cons
No open sights

Pros
I just received my new rifle yesterday and, while I'm very happy with the overall quality of workmanship, the fit, and look of the gun, it won't shoot an accurate group at 20 yds. I began firing JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo Beast .22 Cal, 33.96 grain pellets with the scope mounted. The gun was well supported with Caldwell DeadShot shooting bags. Wind was very light and downrange. The first group was over 8 inches! Firing several more groups yielded similar results. I also tried firing H&N Baracuda Match (5.51mm) .22 Cal, 21.14 grain with no change in accuracy. I checked and tightened all of the scope mounting screws and the picatinny rail. The tightest group achieved was just over 4 inches. I decided to remove the scope and see what the iron sights could do. The results were the same-very random. I began wondering if I just needed to fire a bunch of rounds through it and see if it "settled in". After around 100 rounds the results were only slightly better.

Cons
What can I say? A gun that won't shoot straight isn't much good. When I failed to get an acceptable group, I really began to focus on gun support, site alignment, site picture, breathing, trigger squeeze, and gun tilt. I'm willing to admit I may fire a bad shot once in a while, but I'm confident I was making very good shots here.

This gun is an excellent buy. Just beware that alloy pellets will go supersonic even in the .22 caliber so stick with lead.

Pros
Scope is actually very good and well matched to this gun. The gun is very accurate once you master the correct hold and find the right pellet and allow the piston to break in. Excellent groups at 25 yards always quarter size with very few flyers.

Cons
Just make sure to use heavier pellets. I have had the PBA pellets go supersonic and I own the .22 caliber version and it’s extremely loud when this happens. Not at all neighborhood friendly if you use alloy pellets. The groups aren’t as tight anyways when they go supersonic. I’m assuming it messes with the stability or something. I found that most leadpellets stay subsonic. The Ruger pointed pellets are very accurate as are the raptor pellets in my gun.

Best break barrel I’ve owned. I bought this for the silencer, very nice open sights, and lightweight. Dime sized groups at 25 yards WITH IRON SIGHTS! None of my Benjamin’s have iron sights- so they are useless once that recoil destroys the factory scope.

Pros
Lightweight, very accurate, ergonomics looks cool! Love the fiber optics easy to see open sights.

Cons
It is quiet, the only loud part is the action-that gas ram. And if your shooting wood expect a big loud WHOMP

Could be quieter, I have a Benjamin Rogue Which is rated at 87 level of two rather than a one as a gammo is
And they both sound the same and I pretty much interchangeable. I honestly think that both a bit overpriced and is going to go for about 180 at the most. So you might want to buy them when theyre on sale. Additionally its a shame they dont come with scopes which are already sighted And lock into place with accuracy already determined by the factory. In a time when we have self driving cars Its a shame scope accuracy technology is still in its infancy Which shows a lack of an initiative to spend money on the manufacturers

Hey There Friends, I am willing to bet none of you cleaned the barrel before you took that first shot ! One thing is very very important every time ! When you get a new gun is to clean out the barrel if you don't you get results like in the reviews ! So remember a clean well maintained gun is a tack driver !

What is the difference between "Whisper Fusion Mach 1" and "Black Maxxim IGT Mach 1" except the barrel?   "Whisper Fusion Mach 1" costs more at some stores. Than "Black Maxxim IGT Mach 1" why? After all, "Black Maxxim IGT Mach 1" is higher in class and should it cost more? I already think that "Whisper Fusion Mach 1" is better than "Black Maxxim IGT Mach 1", is that so? And again, as I learned the red stripe is 0.177 caliber and the green stripe is 0.22 caliber, and what does the blue or black stripe on the butt mean?
