What an unbelievable copy of the Tsarist Russian army's 19th-century revolver developed by Belgians Leon and Emile Nagant. This firearm version was later used by the Soviet soldiers after the 1917 revolution. Each cartridge holds one steel BB and the cartridges are loaded singly through a loading gate. Speedloaders were not used and that's how soldiers reloaded their guns in the heat of battle! Whether or not you're a history buff and like historically interesting guns, you will marvel at this revolver every time you pick it up. It looks and feels "right"! The manufacturer writes on the box that your Nagant revolver has a velocity of 328 fps. The manual states a velocity of 360 fps. Airgun writer Tom Gaylord did some testing and found these speeds to be very low. In single-action mode, he got a high of 403 fps with Daisy zinc-plated steel BBs, with an average of 390 fps. In double-action (using Daisy BBs), he got a high of 396 fps, with an average of 386 fps.

Gletcher Nagant Revolver Features
  • Black finish
  • Repeater
  • Uses a 12-gram CO2 cartridge
  • 7rd cylinder
  • Full-metal body
  • Double- and single-action
  • Fixed front and rear sights
  • 5.50 lbs. trigger-pull in single-action- 8.80 lbs. trigger-pull in double-action
  • Textured grips
  • Includes 7 realistic cartridge shells (each holds 1 steel BB)

Steel BBs can ricochet. The shooter and everyone in the shooting area should wear safety glasses when a gun is being handled (even if it's unloaded). Remember to remove all pets from the area as rebounding ammo can hit them too. Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects (including metal targets) or water as that increases the chance of ricochet.

Works well but is considerably lighter than the original.

The realism is excellent. It is a perfect replica of the real Russian Nagant. The weight, feel, size and controls are like having the real one in my hand. At 30 feet just as accurate as real thing.

Love this gun. I have shot approx. 500 rds so far with no issue.
Gun feels "real" and is very accurate at around 25 feet in my basement range.

Pros
Time travel back to the turn of the 20th century! Accurate.

Cons
None so far.

I refrain from giving a negative review when a single specimen had a problem, but when two have the same exact failure that is a fairly strong indictment. The first leaked through the valve immediately and was returned for a replacement. The second began leaking in the same manner after only 30 shots, so I returned it for another product.
Airgun Depot made these mishaps easy to remedy with the quick issuance of return labels and customer service that simply can not be topped.
I do also have the pellet version of the Nagant Revolver and it has thus far held up. All of the guns are very nicely made, function smoothly and showed good power and very good grouping of the shots. If the manufacturer can perhaps solve the valve seal failure I would love to get one of the BB pistols again, but after two failed so quickly, I'll wait to attempt that again. The gun does come with an 18 month factory warranty, so, it seems the company is devoted to producing a quality product. Those 30 day warranty offers offered on some products should give anyone pause.

Pros
Airgun Depot has top notch customer support.

Cons
Valve failures on two of three guns is a cause for concern.

I have a real 1915 Nagant revoler. Does the cylinder slide forward like the real one?
