H&N has a well earned reputation as makers of some of the best airgun ammo available in terms of affordable accuracy and performance. With a lineup including many different calibers, weights, shapes and styles, you'll always find what you're looking for---from practice, to hunting, to competition.

These HP Slugs are made in a variety of weights, so that you can get additional range without giving up power or precision. They keep more of their energy until impact and have a high ballistic coefficient and higher speeds because of their hollowpoint design, which also has superior expansion at the target.

You'll get a slug with high dependability because of the tighter weight and size tolerances of their swaged design. Shoot farther and with better accuracy than you previously imagined with the H&N Slug HPs from Airgun Depot.

I'm hoping some one can reach out and let me know , do I just move on to another source for my needs . Thanks in advance for any and all helps here.

Pros
These are a hog of a pellet, love the weight and look . But!

Cons
I am wondering if it just me or if there might be an issue with the pellets I purchased. They are the H&N slugs HP 4.5mm/177cal pellet. Try as I may it seems to me like the slugs may be oversized for the air rifle. It takes a great effort to press the round into the loading port. While it will insert , albeit with quit some pressure to force it into barrel. I'm wondering if the rifle just isn't suited to the ammo. Any help?
