I'd use these on a lower power or co2 rifle. Out of a pcp they get a bit squirrely. But the weight and penetration are great. These rounds SMACK.
Pros
I shoot these Out of my power tuned beeman qb79 and it loves these pellets. They arc and hit perfectly with a good amount of power and penetration. Im getting tight groups at 30 yards.
Cons
Out of my pcp however. The beeman chief 2 plus s which I also power modded these rounds tend to get a little squirrely. The power and penetration is still phenomenal. But at speeds of 1000 fps they lose accuracy pretty fast. Which is why I was stoked they fire well out of my qb79.
You can count on a sure shot every time with these pellets. H&N in general make a variety of great pellets that have very consistent flight and accuracy as far as 35-40 yards. You can put a shot into a 2" bulls-eye at 125 feet with these. The extra weight does not diminish the speed of the pellet and when they hit something solid, they flatten out like a circular saw blade at about 1/2" in diameter. Great for varmint hunting or just having fun shooting targets at different distances. I buy at least one tin each week.
Pros
Consistency and accuracy.
Cons
None!
I've been shooting all my life with center fire and rimfife rifles so I'm quite proficient with an adequate scope . Just purchased a Gamo Magnum and wish I did my research and found airgun depot sooner and all the video reviews ! First I would've gone PCP to have a backyard friendly pest rifle . Second all my purchases would've been through AGD !
Now to the pellets . I've experimented with Gamo that came with the rifle and too loud ! So in research through AGD I bought heavier grain pellets and the H&N I'm not impressed ! 30 yard groups are not in a responsible range to humanely dispatch pests or even hit my targets . Three out of ten are extreme flyers bringing my groups to 6-8" and the other seven are maybe 2.5"-3.5" groups . Through the research of YouTube vids I've noticed not many rifles like the H&N and I need precision ! I won't waste your time on describing my 50yd groupings .. My rifle prefers the Gamo whisper 10.5 and JSB 10.34 . One inch groups at 30 and 50yds free hand shooting , never a bench rest . if you're punching paper at 15-30 they are economical pellets and fine but longer ranges and pest dispatching look at JSB !
Pros
Great tin and cheap paper puncher at short range .
Cons
Too many flyers , no precision accuracy after 20yds .
Have high powered break-action rifles, 1200fps and above, and could not hit paper plate at thirty yards with the light weight 7.4 pellets my local walmart sells. These improved accuracy tremendously at 30yds and even out to 40yds. However, every air-gun is different, even the same models.
Pros
Very little deformation on soft targets
Cons
Needs good back stop in very high powered guns, I shot through 1/2" particle board at 30yds.
Well made very consistent chambering and they gave a good accuracy from my Gamo Bull whisper BC grouping at 3/4 inch at 25 yards. They were about 5 inches low (and a lil left) if the current zero but if they perform well at longer distances I may try using them on pests. Well worth the try and they make a noticeable difference in the lessened noise level of my gun.
Pros
consistent, accurate, quieter, decent price for the quantity
Cons
None

My gamo magnum will hold a 2 inch group at 30yds no problem with these pellets, not good but consistent. Haven’t had any fliers yet out of half the can.
Pros
Clean and very few imperfect pellet
