During manufacturing all the sharp edges are rounded to prevent the accidental pinching of the rifle scope tube. The double hex screws and precision machined dovetail clamp rail fit precisely onto the rifle dovetail or weaver rail (see model). The dovetail clamp rail is reversible to fit both 3/8" and 9-11mm (airgun) receivers.
