Hawke optics, need to say no more!
Pros
Great glass for the price!
Cons
None
Excellent scope and priced right
Pros
As stated above, for the money u can't do better . Clear image and built well.
Cons
None
This scope is not rated for heavy recoil airguns per and email I recieved from Hawke Optics. The Vantage and below models are rated as light recoil and the Airmax and up models are for heavy recoil!
Pros
Great scope when used for the correct intended purposes!
Cons
None
There are so many brands and sizes to choose from but, I always go with the ones I know have the quality and history to back their claim. This one is installed on my HW 30S and is a match I can't put to words, for this little rifle is like it was meant to wear this scope on its rails. I see a review that says it should not be rated to use on spring rifles but let me tell you, I have this same one on my Beeman R9 also and it is used a lot, so far no issues with it shooting 14.66 H&N FTT at 715 fps. Every rifle is different so I can only speak for my experience. Very good options to use with Chairgun app.
Pros
Precise and positive click, great looks and very good quality overall.
Cons
Nothing, at least from me.
Purchased the Hawke Vantage 3x9-40 for my RWS mod 34. Great scope, very sharp image. I was shooting amazing groups with this scope on my rifle. But after about 50 shots my groups fell apart. Spent about another 250 rounds trying to keep it sighted in. I was very sad to have to send this scope back because it was such a nice scope, but I guess it can not take the recoil from a spring gun. Will buy another model of Hawke.
Pros
Clearest sharpest scope I have ever owned. Good quality.
Cons
No cons for Hawke, but this scope is not suitable for spring air rifles

asked Harry from USANot the Hawke vantage line. It would have to be the Hawke Airmax or 30mm tube Hawke scopes.
Mark from USAI notice that this scope is offered where AO is in the title and not in the other. Can someone school this noob on the difference?
asked Ken from USAAO corrects parallax at different distances. Without it the reticle will move in relation to the target if your eye is not perfectly aligned. This effect is worse at close range. If you set your parallax at 100 yards and aim at a target 50 feet away you can make the crosshairs wander all over the target by moving your head in relation to the rifle. A secondary effect is that the focus is improved at the range the parallax is set to.
Brent from USAAO means the scope can accurately focus to close distances. Typically 10 yard. Fixed parallax scopes can not.
Mark from USAWill this scope the Hawke Vantage 3by 9 hold up to a 34 rws air rifle?
