This was my first purchase on this site. This first transaction was really smooth and I will order from them very soon (as in right now just before I typed in this review). This looks like it will be my go-to-airgunning site. Highly recommended. Great job Airgun Depot.
Pros
Fixed scope is always better imo. Great glass to see through at this price point you can’t beat it.
Cons
Flip up covers would’ve served more protection instead of the strap that it comes with but again it’s fine at this price point.
I'm rather new (one year) to airgunning, and I was told that an inexpensive NcSTAR scope was all I'd need for my highly modified Crosman 1322. I had hunted with shotguns as a kid decades ago, with no scope of course, so I was new to scopes too, not just to airguns. I was skeptical, but figured that if the NcSTAR doesn't work out, it's no big loss, and I'd get something further up the scale. "The Cyclops" Joe Rhea has a lot of scope reviews on YouTube, and the Hawke Vantage was one of his picks for best scope at $100 or less, so I got this one. Wow what a difference! It is so bright and clear, and the exit pupil is huge compared to that of the little NcSTAR! I showed it to my dad who has hunted large game with scopes, and he was quite impressed too.
Pros
very bright
very clear
large exit pupil, making it easier to find quickly, and also making for a brighter image in low light when your pupil is dilated
Cons
I can't think of any cons. Would four or eight times the price get a better scope? Sure; but this scope is everything you see in the specifications, and more, with absolutely no disappointments.
I’m a bit old school, never have gone for variable power scopes or even high magnification. Have always liked a straight 4x, seems to be enough magnification whilst having a big field of view. This scope fits the bill exactly with the added feature of an adjustable objective, which you need for a pellet gun or .22, as the distances typically you are shooting are less than 100 yards, which is the distance most rifle scopes are calibrated for parallax.
The scope looks great, optics are great and everything functions as designed. A truly great value for an air gun scope.
My pellet rifle is a Gamo CFX I have had for years and use for varmint control (birds and squirrels). The scope that came with the rifle is OK, but only clear right around the cross hairs. This new Hawke is clear from edge to edge and has a air gun range useful adjustable objective. My accuracy has improved because of the clarity of this scope. I am working on using the reticle to adjust for range, as I have targets at about 30 ft, 50 ft and 70 yards where varmints hang out. I am confident that with work I will have a rifle that is effective at all these ranges without touching the turrets. Don't wait, get one now!
Pros
Clarity, useful adjustable objective for air gun ranges, value
Cons
Didn't purchase one earlier
Purchased for my grandson's air rifle. Excellent quality for price, love the finger adjustable turrets and glass quality is very good. Scope tracks perfectly.
Pros
Quality for price.
Cons
Nobe
This was my first Hawke scope; I found it very easy to set up. I am used to much more expensive scopes, and in the past have not been happy with scopes in this price range, but the optics is very clear. The focus seems very good as does the parallax adjustment.
Pros
Very clear, a very good value for the price.
Cons
None so far

Mark from USAThe scope that came with my Umarex Ruger Air Hawk II break barrel doesn't seem to hold zero. Sometimes it shoots good groups at 15 yards, others times it's all over the place. Would this be a good replacement scope for a break barrel design?
asked Aaron from USANo. The Hawke Sport scopes are not airgun rated. You need a UTG/Leapers scope or a Hawke Airmax scope.
Mark from USAwill this scope withstand recoil/be compatible with my gamo .177 whisper fusion mach 1?
asked John from USANo. The Hawke HD scope is only rated for a 12Ftlb gun.
Mark from USAcan this go on a magnum springer and will it hold up? i have a hatsan 135 .25 and i wanted to use this with a bulls eye zr mount
asked David from USAIs this Springer ready. I'm looking at getting one, probably an asp20 and keep hearing to get Springer rated but can't find those words. Is shockproof the same thing?
asked LeviI have an older RWS Diana .177 model 36 air rifle. It looks like the model 34 now? I would like to order the Hawke 4 X 32 scope code 14102 and the Hawke match low 1" rings hm 6102 Is this combo compatible with each other and the rifle? Would the sights have to be removed? Thanks. Ken
asked Kenneth E ButlerI have a gamo whisper fusion mach 1 just curious has any one put this scope on one and how does it hold up
asked Juan Musgrove
Pros
Good price, good clarity of lenses, easy to adjust and needs no tool.
Cons
Doesn't hold zero. Constantly having to adjust it, even using it on a low power rifle.
