I mounted my Center point scope on my Synth Rod and it was shooting good but not quit satisfied.Ordered this Hawke scope to replace the center point and now I could shoot flies at 20 yards.Very clear an easy to adjust.Love the fine glass edged reticle.Side focus is a bonus but the rectangular marker is on the side of the scope and behind the mounting ring in my case make it difficult to see other than that very happy for my choice.
Pros
Good scope all around for that price range.
Cons
Advertise said it is included with the flip opened lenses covers but mine came in with the removable covers( the one that have 2 rubber bands on each side) and I don't like that.
I have never owned a hawke scope until I bought this one. I own and have used far more expensive scopes and this one holds it own at a great price. The scope is clear and seems well built. I have a vortex on one of my 22s that I'd say is in a similar class but more then twice the price. It is nicer for sure but I don't know about twice as nice. I will say eye relief is somewhat finicky but not bad. I have it set on my wildcat so my head falls into place but both the only other two people that have used it had a tough time getting it right.
Pros
Great quality and clarity at a low price.
Cons
Eye relief is a little touchy but nothing to really worry about.
Not Yet Tested! ... still at my SpringGunTuner/AirGunSmith's for tune & set-up !! . . . happy to oblige once I have received & test-fired !!!
However, just for whatever it may/may not be worth . . . As a first-timer with no Air rifle experience, I purchased the Hawke Vantage SF 3-12x44 AO based solely on the recommendation of my highly acclaimed AirGunSmith, who indicated that it has proven to be his most trouble free scope with highest satisfaction rating by a huge majority of all his many Air Rifle customers !!!

GOT A NITRO VENOM DUSK RIFLE. THE SCOPE THAT COMES WITH IS CRAP!!!!!!!! YOU CAN NOT SEE A BLOODY THING OUT OF IT. IT IS TRULY A NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. NOW I CAN PICK THOSE SQUIRRLEY MONSTERS CLEAN OUT OF THE TREE TOPS.

I put this scope on my Webley Vulcan Mk II. and took it Ground Squirrel hunting and took three Squirrels with head shots at 30 yards. I also shot two lizards at the same distance! Great Optics for the money.
Pros
Great Price, clear optics!
Cons
Wish it came with a 4 inch side wheel.
(I may upset a few people) but I have this scope mounted on a tuned marauder air rifle, and have to say this is the best scope I've used on it to date (one year now)... tried the other big named one's out there (leoupold, bushnell, mtc, mamba, etc....) and this Hawke scope does better in the real world hunting situations than the others...out to a 100 yards. I've dropped my gun, fell with it, and it's had it's hard knock's put against it. And has kept it's ZERO WITH NO ISSUE'S. It's magnum springer rated, double braced, side focus, really clear optics, and it's a HAWKE!!!! And the best buy out there under $200 buck's Need I say more......
Pros
VALUE UNDER $200!!!!!
Cons
NOT ONE! BUY IT YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!
