Top Picks
The Airmax 6-24x50 SF scope is designed with serious airgun shooters in mind. And with airguns becoming more powerful and able to push out to further distances, you need an airgun with more magnification. Particularly when hunting to make sure of humane kills. The Airmax has lockable turrets for easy adjustments without the need to remove the turret cap. Hawke has also engineered the Airmax series scopes to withstand the double recoil of high powered spring piston air rifles. it's clear to see why Hawke is an industry leader in developing specialized optics for serious airgun shooters and hunters. This Hawke scope has an etched-glass reticle which is superior to a wire reticle because it's much more precise. That lets you get even more accuracy from your gun. Another way that etched-glass reticles are superior to wire reticles is when they're illuminated. The etched ones show the illumination only on the reticle. It looks like the reticle is floating. Wire reticles often have a reflection of the illumination in the objective lens which can be distracting when shooting.

Finally took the plunge and picked up the Airmax 30SF 6-24X50 IR, I immediately mounted and zeroed it. I'm impressed with the build quality of the scope, obviously Hawke takes pride in what they build and stand behind their products.
The clicks of the turrets were crisp and clean, zeroing the scope was a breeze, the glass is exceptional, I own several high end Leupold scopes, in my opinion these scopes are on par with them as far as clarity goes.
If you are considering purchasing a Hawke Airmax 30SF all I can say is DO IT! You won't regret it.

I have owned 1 of these scopes for a year, using it for hunter field target at 16X. This scope is extremely well constructed, has bright and clear optics, and ranges EXTREMELY WELL. I like this scope so much that I just bought another one for a new spring rifle.

Pros
Bright & Clear Optics Ranges Extremely Well Excellent Construction 4" Sidewheel & Hood Included

Cons
None

Bought this scope as an upgrade from a Hawke Vantage 4-12x50 Ao. Huge difference! Much better optics, more magnification and side focus for parallax makes this a much easier scope to use in the field. Sitting on top of my .25 cal. Marauder, it really brings out the potential of this rifle. The AMX reticle is a little smaller than I thought it would be ( dosnt reach edge to edge) but lm likening it the more I use it. Reticle is sharp and clear and easy to use quickly. Metal scope caps are a nice touch and an extra battery. Four shots and it was sighted in. Very nice.

Pros
Very nice optics, silky smooth AO adjustment wheel, zoom ring smooth, easy to use. AMX reticle is nice and clear, easy to use in the field. I like the aiming marks, makes for accurate shooting.

Cons
It would be nice to have a locking ring on the ocular lens, dont really care for the open turret adjustments, would prefer caps to keep dirt and debris out, but no big deal. I know, but I just gotta say it; wish it wasnt made in China

I bought this scope as part of the Benjamin Armada long range combo. I don't think that AGD could have made a better choice for that rifle. The clarity and adjustability of the scope is amazing compared to others that I have worked with. It is in the running with more expensive options that I have on some of my center fire hunting rifles. In most cases you get what you pay for, but in this instance you get more. The reticle is easy to use and the illumination works great in low light situations.

Pros
value, price, functionality, clarity

Cons
none that I can think of

The quality is superb, it does it's job perfectly. I bought this scope along with the FX Royale. Excellent scope! The clarity of this scope is amazing! It rivals much more expensive glass. The reticle is thin while still being very clear and easy to acquire. It will work well with all kinds of rifles. Not just air guns.

Pros
If you have the extra money spend it on this scope, It is well worth the $.

Cons
The price is on the high side but like they say you get what you pay for. What else needs changing NOTHING!
