Born in Iowa in 1907, Marion Mitchell Morrison would grow up to be an icon of American cinema. Starting out in small roles and working as a prop boy, it wasn't until 1930, when he was cast as the lead in The Big Trail that he would come to be known by his stage name, John Wayne. Becoming one of the biggest names in Hollywood, John typified the role of the old west gunslinger and was seldom seen on screen with out a Peacemaker on his hip. In celebration of The Duke's legacy, Air Venturi in partnership with John Wayne Enterprises has introduced the John Wayne "Duke" Signature Edition Colt Peacemaker. Straight off the silver screen and into your hands, the John Wayne "Duke" Signature Series Peacemaker is a must have for any fan.

This quality replica pistols comes in a sparkling nickle finish and features a commemorative medallion inlaid in the grips as well as John Wayne's signature on the back strap. This pistol shoots BBs and is powered by standard co2 canisters. Whether you're reliving childhood memories, teaching the next generation of shooters, or just looking for a nice display piece, the John Wayne Signature Series Peacemaker is a must have for any wild west aficionado!

Three of us shot up a lot of pellets. Very accurate, easy to load. Glad I bought extra cartridges so we had 18 in all which allowed us to always have 6 fresh rounds ready. AirGun Depot was super with support.

Pros
Accurate, easy and fun

Cons
Nothing

Colt + "The Duke." What's not to like? I purchased this air pistol some months ago & have not been able to shoot it (at a range) as much as I would like. But I've put about 50 to 60 rounds through it w/o a malfunction. Shoots a little low, but its groupings are quite consistent. I have so far not experienced the flaking mentioned in an earlier review. The grips are attractive, but I nevertheless wish they were real wood, and not plastic. Pistol has a real "heft" to it that feels good in the hand. If you are into western guns, then this is a no brainer, other than deciding which version to get.

Pros
Authentic look & feel. Reliable. Accurate.

Cons
Plastic grips.

As much as other airguns are great fun to blast bb's, I enjoy the slower pace and realism of the loading. Not a small guy, but this puppy is pretty heavy. Still adjusting to how she shoots as I can't bring myself to properly shoot with the Weaver stance. So still working on my wobbly 1-arm shooting.

Nickel finish is nice--chose it cause it hides the safety warning.

Only issue (that's pending customer service resolution) is that some of the finish on the barrel was missing out of the box and is flecking off with normal use. It's not enough to regret the purchase, but I'm hoping for a resolution because I'm vain about my toy guns...

Pros
Never fired or held a real Peacemaker, but sure seems like the real deal with the loading, half-cock to load and unload (aside from the hammer not fully going forward).

Cons
Wish the plastic handle was a little heavier to balance it out. The hex wrench in the handle is cool enough, but I hesitate to crank it too hard as I'm worried it might come off over time if I do. Cosmetic damage to the one I received (pending resolution).

I bought this as a refurbished unit, and it is flawless. I really like how it functions, pretty accurate too, (I need to spend some time shooting it from a rest with different pellets). I have just been shooting it at short range about 15 to 20 feet off hand. My only issue with this revolver is that it shoots to the right about an inch, and I have no way of adjusting the front sight. I would be afraid to bend it for fear that it would break off. I bought the pellet pen to use to load it and it works very well. If you want a cowboy air gun, then this is definitely the one. I also bought the Schofield revolver, and it is not as accurate (shoots BB's). I also have the Smith & Wesson 586 which will definitely out shoot either one of these cowboy revolvers by a long shot!

Pros
fun to shoot, functions flawlessly, nice trigger

Cons
Shoots to the right about an inch

one comment is it would of been nice to have more round's per cylinder...and also to have the hammer come forward all the way.

Pros
the authenticity of the look and feel.

Cons
weight maybe..

The gun feels and looks like the real thing. The gun functions very well. I have had no problems with the refurbished gun and have cycled at least a dozen co2 cartridges through the gun.
The quality of the plaiting on the pistol is very nice. I liked it so much I bought one for my father and my grandson.

Pros
Realistic weight

Cons
Wish the hammer did not stick out from the gun.

This is my third pistol and I must say it is the most accurate fun gun right out of the box. It is easy to aim, load and fire. I see I am going to have to take turns with the wife and kids on using this gun. I cannot think of one complaint. I also got the holster to go with it which is a nice touch. You will not regret getting this one!

Pros
The most accurate fun gun right out of the box. It is easy to aim, load and fire.

Cons
Nothing
